  1. I have many ideas. Most of them are probably garbage. But I have ideas.
  2. Or how about the Golden Batter has to take the at bat in the team’s mascot costume?
  3. Aluminum bat…… hey, wait a second. Make it a wiffle ball at bat. Half of the fielders come off of the field. Opposite side of the field is out. Use lawn chairs for bases. Return the batted ball to pitcher on the mound for an out if the runners are still off base.
  4. I'd be fine with a player opt out after a few years with a regressing salary going into the player's decline seasons.
  5. No, Mounds has the dark chocolate. Almond Joy has milk chocolate (I had one yesterday).
  6. Oh Lord... Both situations suck. That's where I'm planting my flag.
  7. On another hand, the election of a felon and this particular pardon can both be bad situations.
  8. Almond Joy’s got nuts. Mounds don’t.
  9. So this golden at batter, I got to thinking….. Let’s get Savannah Bananas with this. That batter has to run the bases in reverse order. Home to 3rd to 2nd to 1st and back to home. And, if he scores, it’s a run deleted from the opposition rather than adding a run for his team.
  10. So, riddle me this, if I stopped watching at halftime, is there any reason to pick up the 2nd half? Are they going to be 3-1 in this gimmicky tourney with a negative point differential?
  11. Almonds > walnuts. That’s all I got.
  12. OK, hear me out. Suppose you take the all star game and tie World Series home field advantage to the outcome of the all star game? The league that wins the all star game gets 4 of the 7 games at home? How’s about that?
  13. Go up front with the majority of the moneys? $32, $30, $28,,….? Lower salary in the declining seasons and it leaves a bit more in the kettle for Skubal and Greene extensions.
  14. Maybe I inherently blocked all of that BS out because BS.
  15. Yeah, I ‘spose there’s a point there. But metros with bigger pops (Seattle) are without a team in the top tier basketball league.
  16. Would you be happy with the Boyd and/or Montas contracts?
  17. Admittedly I don’t get out much, but I don’t ever recall Trump being lauded as anti war and pro peace.
  18. I assume the debt factors into the price tag if/when the current ownership group sells, but how much does that factor in? Its not necessarily a dollar to dollar debt to price tag ratio (ignoring factors like inflation) when there are likely numerous groups bidding.
  19. He will play part of his next contract in Comerica Park. Book it.
  20. But you have to buy the vowels.
  21. 8 home games in July and 8 home games in August. Also in August is a 2 week trip to the west coast. 3 games each at the Angels, Mariners, Athletics, and Giants.
  22. So there's a perp that's just getting going and starting out small to test boundaries?
  23. Who knew Ohio State had some NIL left over to bring John Cooper back to coach a game?
  24. Got to see my oldest and her high school choir perform at Carnegie Hall earlier this week. It brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. I’ve never had any interest in going to NYC, but ain’t no way I was missing this. Obviously the theater has its history and ambiance. Fortunately we were able to easily see her from our balcony. Then we hustled her down to Philadelphia for her final matching band performance in the Thanksgiving Day parade. It was raining and we got a bit of a late start to walk to where we thought would be a good viewing spot. We literally got to the spot just before the float in front of them. As we were approaching and couldn’t really see much, I thought for sure I heard one of their usual parade songs. We kind of lucked out to see/hear them perform one of their Christmas songs, too.
  25. I forgot the golden rule. The answer to all your question is money.
