  1. Yooper and Shelton are in an OOTP league that all of the cool kids are in. And me, too.
  2. Look at those strikeout and walk rates. It didn’t take long to replace Soto.
  3. A Gonzalez or Tony Phillips type of guy that can play 4 or 5 times a week at multiple positions is a nice player for any team to have on the roster.
  4. Well, there is that, too. The injury helps the draft lottery situation, but at some point the youth and potential needs to blossom into wins.
  5. Off ball movement would be nice as well. Heck, a combo of the two. If they could acquire/develop a Reggie Miller / Richard Hamilton moving & shooting threat.
  6. Philadelphia 76ers vs Detroit Pistons
  7. It appears that he’s still a free agent.
  8. This is the way I remember Thomas and Dumars. Generally it was Thomas’ show, but Dumars was adept at handling the point with Thomas off of it at times. And then with Johnson playing off of the ball when he was on the floor, it was Thomas/Dumars running things while Dumars/Thomas was on the bench. Its definitely a different game now, and the collection of Cunningham, Ivey, and Hayes is a different skill set individually and collectively than the Palace guards were. Hayes has progressed despite earlier frustrations with his draft selection and development. Cunningham and Hayes have shown potential. Can they find cohesiveness as a trio or maybe a quartet with a defensive minded veteran added into the mix?
  9. It is amusing to me that I’ve seen/heard several mentions of the Phillies unlocking something with Soto. Sure, I’m no fan of Soto. And I think highly of Fetter. So I, probably biased. But if a team were likely capable of finding and unlocking something with a relief pitcher, it would seem strange to me that it wouldn’t be the Tigers with what Fetter has done with other relievers. It’s entirely possible Fetter & Soto aren’t a good combination, no question. But the odds seem unlikely in my worthless opinion.
  10. Oh no, they traded Kole Clemens? Now I’m having second thoughts.
  11. Take it easy on him. He usually wears a helmet & mask. He’s not used to the standard cap. You know, that’s probably why he has that look on him. He probably wanted to take the photo in full gear and the photo crew didn’t oblige.
  12. It is probably even better than that.
  13. Soto was seen cleaning out his locker. He kept missing the box that he was trying to throw his stuff into.
  14. This guy wears the tools of ignorance for a living? Dig it.
  15. Tears of joy for just getting rid of Soto. What a completely overrated "electric" arm.
  16. One of those heal vs hurt games about current Tiger TV announcers?
  17. His fielding exploits will result in numerous E - EE references in the game threads. Not quite along the lines of Elmn, but reasonable enough shorthand.
  18. That's why I added him to the post. You're welcome.
  19. Detroit Pistons vs San Antonio Spurs
  20. Pistons win. Hayes' return was clearly inspiring.
  21. The rules are certainly in favor of more offense. But it also seems as though the realization has set in where defensive "effort" is waning, and why blame players/teams for wasting time on defense? Sure, guard the rim and the 3 line. Everywhere in between, allow the shot and (1) get the rebound or (2) get set on the other end for a quick layup or 3.
  22. That looks his left foot paw.
  23. Detroit Pistons vs Golden State Warriors
