The color combo and font are uniquely theirs. A simple motif, not too busy.
Mitch Keller just took a Daz Cameron liner off of the leg, but it looks like he'll live to tell his grandchildren about it.
Yes. Ball hit in front of you while you're on 2B, just wait and see what happens. He was easy pickin's at 3B. OK, well, let's learn those lessons now as opposed to in a month.
Anyone else get the impression that Correa might be a bit of a pain in the ass personality? Talent can make some employers overlook that trait, but at some point, it can turn some potential opportunities off.
It is kind of amusing to see the a small market team outmaneuver a big market team like the Twins seemingly did here.
Maybe, maybe not. Rumors are that Houston's owner was getting more involved on their end recently.
This has been an awfully odd free agency for Correa. We don't know everything, but I think given everything that is publicly "known" suggests maybe Correa overplayed his hand a bit? He had the team out there that was willing to spend (Texas), but they went with other options which soaked up the funds.
Yes, I think Turnbull back at full strength and form for 2023 is fine. It possible for late 2022, but I just know that I'd want to count on it. Wentz is a guy to watch early this season for similar reasons albeit later on the recovery timeline.
7 Ps had double digit GS last season for the Tigers and an 8th (Turnbull) had 9 GS. Those 8 Ps accounted for 152 starts out of 162 games. I would expect something somewhat similar this season. Pineda is still an injury risk, hence the inexpensive deal. Seeing Rodriguez go 3 IP to start the Grapefruit League was encouraging; hopefully Ps have been up on the conditioning calendar and its just a matter of matching actual game outings to that conditioning.
Turnbull might be due back later this season, but realistically what can be expected out of him? If he shows well in rehab outings, there will be a spot for him, either in the rotation or bullpen. But it seems like having expectations for him to contribute significantly at the major league level if he returns this season might be a bit too aggressive.
In this survey that I just made up, 1/3 of people are for ending DST, 1/3 of people want to keep it, 1/3 of people don’t really care one way or the other, and the final 1/3 don’t have the math skills to understand it.
