  1. I’m pretty sure I was humbled around the double digit age, if not sooner. I have non idea why I love this game when it hated me back.
  2. It was a fantastic idea.
  3. Jim Leyland in the middle of the duo.
  4. Melania.
  5. Small sample size and I have not seen every Jung play at 3B. He has looked better than advertised. That play last night where leaped and threw to 1B too quickly.... I don't know if that was a sign of poor defense or just a kid not realizing how much time he had. To borrow from a great quote, he didn't qualify the speed of the runner. I agree with you about Torkelson, he has not proven reliable at the plate which will need to be his calling card, and need to overcome his poor defense. I don't know what to expect surrounding him this offseason. So, it would seem like a RHH 3B would fit best, at least with this current roster and guessing who remains in Detroit.
  6. Wow. Finger pointing at a kid. What a hero.....
  7. Yes, agree. Its just easier to look at free agency as the way to add talent because those options are more visible than trade options are. Plus, it adds talent without directly affecting the farm system. In addition to the RHH bat, I still think they need relief pitching and sufficient starting pitching to add to Skubal, Olson, and Mize (and maybe Maeda) which pushes the younger arms down to Toledo to start the season. Use Montero as depth. Jobe has walked too many AA players. Gipson-Long is going to be coming back from an entire season off. I think Holton could stretch out into a rotation role, but that weakens the bullpen. The youth can eventually promote up, and hopefully does. The offseason pitching acquisitions can be short term to allow for the timing of such. Back to the RHH bat, is it corner IF?
  8. JD Vance should be doing that. What a loathsome personality with a punchable face.
  9. My reflection is also left handed.
  10. Jung has gone with the pitch to the opposite field a few times in his early career. Did it again tonight. I like that.
  11. Ha! I wondered about that, too.
  12. How awesome, have a great time!
  13. I agree, although, maybe he's only deployed sparingly? Say as an example, DH Greene vs LHPs as a dual measure to get Malloy's bat in the lineup and give Greene some time off from the OF?
  14. I doubt Verlander would want to remove himself from the rotation, but that'd be a fun end of game arm to watch and exactly what the Tigers could use.
  15. Gibson also took the responsibility of being a professional athlete to heart. I think Cabrera was just hanging on to cash in the contract.
  16. I think I'm cool if he plateaus there.
  17. Keep this commentary regarding workload in mind when discussions about Jobe's usage next season arise.
  18. Its not a policy. Its the appropriate life choice.
  19. Malloy is a Harris pickup, so there goes that theory.
  20. I am interested in the home plate umpire's report card.
  21. Yeah, that’s possible. How do they do this? They’re flying to Chicago from Pennsylvania. Does someone get a parachute and a Mud Hens hat somewhere over Northwest Ohio?
  22. Holy smokes, I hope his dad was at the game.
  23. The Tigers’ littlest leaguer defeats the mighty scuzzmuffins from Gotham! New York, all your tears are belong to us!!! BAHAHAHAHA!!! On to the Windy City to wreak havoc on the Baby Bears and Jerk Sox.
  24. EAT IT NEW YORK!!!
