PS: Russia's military stocks that are "comparatively deep"... Means they are using tanks from the 1950's against Leopard, Abrams, and Challenger tanks, broomsticks and shovels to attack machine guns, and Ladas to carry generals to the front... to be killed (again). Your cute little article is badly outdated, patently false, and entirely misleading and a misrepresentation of battlefield truths.

Except that a million Russian men have ditched Russia for other countries due to Putin's Infamous Foolhardy Folly. No one wants to fight for Russia because they know that they will be fighting with broomsticks and shovels against, effectively, a NATO force. The Ukrainians have converted themselves from a ragtag Soviet relic to a NATO mimic using an amalgam/ hodgepodge of donated drones, helmets, artillery, and other mishmashed weaponry donated by countries who didn't want to see the Ukrainians exterminated in a Russian Nazi Genocide against them. With training in western technology and fighting methods, every Ukrainian man, woman, and child is willing to fight to the death in order to save themselves from extermination from Putin's murderous genocidal thugs. Sort of like Israel's 5+ million Jews protecting themselves from 400 million Muslims surrounding them. Most hostile. Successfully. But you don't understand these things... correct? Go ahead and find an article that says otherwise, and post it here. I'm certain many will be influenced by all these wonderful articles that you post to change their minds to your way of thinking. Not.

My mistake... it's in Amur Oblast, near the border with China and not in Kamchatka. I don't know why Kamchatka stuck in my head... probably Risk (hah!). Vostochny Cosmodrome... has actually been in service and had 10 of 11 successful launches there, since 2016. I guess I haven't been paying attention lately... Something must have distracted me since about, oh, say... 2016. (Can't think of what that would be...). Last I remember Putin was firing everyone there because of corruption and construction delays... but that must have been quite awhile ago and, as I said... I lost track...

I wouldn't want to make any judgement calls at this point because you know Fetter will tinker in season and all along (from start to finish... pardon the double entendre...). I think Turnbull was well above average when he left off (to TJ) and appears tp have gotten back to that. So I'm hoping well above average for the year (like maybe a decent #2 starter?). I always viewed Boyd as a 5th starter guy but with his added pitch/ experience maybe he can be a plus #3, which I also would consider well above average. Manning is an unknown to me simply because i don't know if he gets better/ stronger as the season goes along... if Fetter tinkers with him and he starts reaching higher heights... or this is as good as it gets. No clue how this will turn out. Lorenzen...? Just hoping he can keep us in some games as a 5th. Barely average or even less than. I like where eRod is right now. As usual... health is a huge thing for this team and for each of these starters... -
I'm on board with Bridgewater... if he'd want to come here. Wentz and Ryan would be fallbacks to me...
-
Does that mean he was dumping the ball off as quickly as possible almost every time? 1 or 2 steps and dump? Yes... that would be a problem.

Baikanur is an excellent example of that. Russia is losing its main Space Launch pad. I don't think they have the Kamchatka launch pad working yet either, so they may also be losing their ONLY space launch pad. Another good example of just how screwed Russia is... is Xi's visit. It was basically: "Thank you for giving me everything I wanted Vlad... oh, and I'm giving you NOTHING that you wanted, except a few words." Russia is now officially a vassal state of China. A gas station at China's preferred price. AND Vlad gave western oil and gas equipment left in Siberia, to China. AND Vlad invited China IN to Siberia to direct agricultural directions/ investments there. I mean... does Vlad even realize he invited a wolf into his chicken house? The desperate moves of a drowning man and country, I guess, is the answer to all of this...

He's an embarrassment to himself, the team, and Major League baseball at this point. I've been arguing for this for at least two years. But it won't happen. "Dignity" and all. Plus the last year of his contract. Player/ team/ fan relations... I'll live. But he is going out as pitiful. -

Kreidler looks like the new Don Kelly. -
"...the Russian military and Wagner Group are a spent force," D'Anieri said. "They can't engage in offensive operations for the next couple of months and that's because they've lost so many resources in and around Bakhmut."

MAGA might actually like that: "Whoo Boy! Now you're one of US!!!" Trump... not so much...

To each their own.

GFY. I have never maintained drafting Hooker as the only solution but as a combo of signing a vet (let's call him Wentz) on a 1-year contract as well as drafting Hooker as a future backup. You don't like that idea so you're going to ridicule it? GFY.
-
It depends on: Whether the Eagles have a backup, or no backup for Hurts (the backup issue). And on the perception of Hurts value versus Goff's value (the valuation issue). If the Eagles believe Hurts is worth $45-50 mill/ year then they'll sign him to an extension. If they don't, they won't. Assuming they believe in him as their future QB, AND at the highest valuation, and that they will sign him to his extension... That STILL doesn't preclude them from drafting a QB who they believe will be an effective backup for the team for the next 4-ish years. And BTW... that's the move that YOU are arguing (draft a QB because Hurts will cost 20% of cap). That is NOT what others are arguing. The Goff argument is that he is not WORTH 20% of the cap, and therefore draft a QB. Two different things... and where I maintain that you are misrepresenting...
-
I don't remember the last time I've seen QB rookie contract mentioned... I've seen multiple recent posts stating that they (whomever was posting) don't believe Goff would be worth a Max contract ($45-50 mill/ year) which is all the rage nowadays... and with Goff at least a candidate for that level of next contract. Those are two different things, btw, please do not conflate them.

I'm looking for Manning's improvement this year... But it certainly hasn't showed up in ST. -
I don't think that's true.
-
So in other words... You don't like the taste of your own medicine. You've misrepresented the entire discussion/ everyone's position surrounding backup QB. And you continue to do so, at every turn. My statement stands.
-
Misrepresentation. Try again.
-
And since others are suggesting using a draft pick on a Hooker or similar... You need to relentlessly attack and belittle that philosophy. I think you're the problem. Not the ones suggesting to use a draft pick on a QB.
-
Which year when Stafford was here were we in a Super Bowl possibility/ discussion? Where having a top backup would be a necessary precaution in order to not lose out on that possibility...?
-
So nobody should EVER draft a QB because all QB's last forever, right? What a BRILLIANT philosophy!!!
-
So your answer too this situation is that there should be ONE, and ONLY ONE QB on the Lions roster, correct? That seems like a really, really good plan. All NFL teams should follow your blueprint. It seems like... such a winning philosophy.

Hooker or Bust!!!
