    I wore a Lions t-shirt in the Grand Canyon this weekend going Rim to Rim and got comments from around 20 people (out of 200 or so people I saw until I got back to the south rim). People think it’s a great story and everyone is intrigued and wanted to chuckle and chat.

    Just learned Kaline never had a 30-homer season. He hit 29 in both ‘62 and ‘66 and hit 27 three other times. Neither did Kirk Gibson, his high was 29 in 85. Jim Northrup’s highest was 25 in ‘69 Norm Cash on the other hand did it 5 times Mickey Tettleton did it 3 years in a row between ‘91-‘93 Lance Parrish did it once, with 32 in ‘82.
