  1. Good job by Montgomery setting up a manageable 2nd down which Goff took advantage of.
  2. Charbonnet picked up an extra 7 yards!
  3. I listened to the Seahawks’ pre-game, as a local Vancouver station picks it up. All talked as if the Lions will be tough, but then all three picked the Seahawks to win. Two by 27-24, the other 24-23.
  4. This Colorado-Colorado St game is fine. The Deions just drove 98 yards in a minute and a half, then made the 2-point conversion, to tie at 28-28 with 36 seconds to go
  5. Whew. Win #69. Didn’t come easy though. Go 8-6 rest of way to match the Tigers’ best record since 2016, at 77-85. I think that makes me sad not happy.
  6. And no win for Sawyer thanks to a Lange meltdown. The Angels had looked inept all night.
  7. And he has struck out 6 of the last 7 hitters he has faced. The other guy walked.
  8. Win #68, with 15 games to go.
  9. 11-1 Tigers and here come the position player in to pitch.
  10. Second inning in a row the radio feed comes back midway through a leadoff hit in progress.
  11. If he plays and homers tonight it is possible that you will have the privilege of seeing his last ever MLB home run. Try to grab the baseball if he does, should be worth a pair of tickets to next year’s Angels-Tigers game,
  12. Wear a ski mask if you want, but if you’re going to the game don’t put it on until you get to the parking lot. Last thing you want to be wearing when you stop at a gas station 7 miles from Ford Field to run in to grab a bag of chips and a Coke.
  13. It does seem hard to believe that the Tigers, with 580, have scored fewer runs than any team in MLB except for Oakland. Despite the emergence of Tork, Carpenter and Greene. Even 21 runs fewer than KC! It didn't seem THAT bad, although maybe that's just because of my low expectations going in based on past years and because the pitching kept the Tigers in most games. Runs Allowed is 19th in MLB and Runs Differential is 25th, so are we lucky to even be 67-79? Doesn't feel like it, but ...
  14. Daniella has to stretch her arms when interviewing Elmer.
  15. Today is the 55th anniversary of McLain’s 30th victory. Some good color clips within this.
  16. Tigers are 67-79 with 1/10 of the season left. If they split their final 16 games they would finish at 75-87. A season of 75 or 76 wins would feel about right. Have hovered close to around 10games under .500;
