  1. That’s what I was getting on the MLB radio app but I switched to Sirius XM amd listening to Dan D and Andy Dirks now.
  2. Yep. 31-13 to end the regular season. 4-1 to start the season. Possible to win the Series going 9-7 the rest of the way.
  3. Tell them to toss it up in the air and see if the wind takes it all the way.
  4. This will be the fourth time these playoffs the Tigers will take a 3-run lead to the 9th. Game 1 at Astros was scary but won 3-1. Game 2 at Astros and Game 2 at Guardians were routine 9ths. Is this game Foley-proof?
  5. DEE-FENSE! 3-0 at 7th inning stretch.
  6. Big moment. 2 on 1 out with heart of Guardians’ order coming up. Escape artist Beau Briske coming in.
  7. “4 Canadians on the Guardians’ playoff roster”. Screw ‘em.
  8. Wasn’t it Rusty Kuntz with the pop fly RBI for the 4th run to break 3-3 tie and then Lance Parrish making it 5-3 with a homer a bit later for the GW RBI?
  9. What I remember about 2014 was us fans feeling negative about the team even before the series began. I'm not sure why. This Game 1 lineup was pretty strong and the playoff rotation started with Scherzer, Verlander and Price. The Tigers' regular season record was 90-72. Not sure why even down 2-0 to a 96-win team the fans gave up so easily.
  10. It was a big moment and Hamilton treated it as such. Instead of sounding like his dog had died, as announcers of some announcers would have.
  11. In the 2006 ALDS, the Tigers split the first two games at the Yankees, came home and won two straight to win the series 3-1. In the 2011 ALDS, the Tigers split the first two games at the Yankees, came home and won game 3 but lost game 4, then won Game 5 in New York. In the 2012 ALDS, the Tigers won the first two games at Comerica, then lost the next two games in Oakland, but won Game 5 still in Oakland. In the 2013 ALDS, the Tigers split the first two games in Oakland, then split the next two games at Comerica, then went back to Oakland and won Game 5.
  12. Royals might be able to tie their series too, as it is 4-1 KC in the top of the 8th. I can never watch a Royals-Yankees game without thinking of this clip of peak 1970s chaos.
  13. Bobby Scales has had a really good stretch drive and post-season.
  14. Spanish-language call of Carpenter’s homer https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMhSQY8Ss/
  15. Coming up Thursday.…
  16. Boom! Carpenter’s 3-run Blast.m4a
  17. I think Carpenter’s home run caused my Apple Watch to be worried about me.
