  1. ............and here we go
  2. Don't care. I want them to clinch this with a victory in front of this town. Don't want to "back in". Regarding who we are playing or where. Don't care --- just get there.
  3. That crowd is about to erupt
  4. It suuuuuccccckkkkkkks Everyone says "Hey , you get to relax" NO ! IT'S NOT RELAXING TO THAVE NOTHING TO DO - IT'S TERRIFYING ! I mean, you've seen every episode of M*A*S*H and my god, how many Medicare commercials do they run on daytime TV. It was 10 weeks after my achilles surgery...............I couldn't wait to get back to the office.
  5. I didn't realize that until now. If he runs it out he's easily safe. Wow, and after he called out a teammate this season. Horrible look for him, man. Unless you're an older player who can't run - you run out EVERY ball. Can't even imagine anyone on the Tigers doing that.
  6. I love that Carlos "I can give you 80 games" Correa made the last out. Yes, much better than Javy, but not worth $35 mil a year. Twins had the bases loaded in the 11th - I went to bed thinking it was over. As magical as this is for the Tigers it's tragical for the Twins. What a choke job. LETS FINISH THIS TONIGHT. I WILL EVEN DRINK ALCOHOL IF THEY WIN TONIGHT (OR CLINCH THIS WEEKEND) CLINCH WITH A WIN, NOT WITH A TWINKIE LOSS - I WANT TO SEE THAT PARTY DOWN THERE Think about it -- a year ago we only had Miggy's last game to look forward to -- and now this. Sadly, his departure has helped with this season. Guys needed ABs.
  7. Screw it - still contract them. Nobody would shed a tear. I'd say the White Sox too, but they have the whole history thing............
  8. to fill our hearts with love.................sure.
  9. Contract the Marlins. Nobody would miss them.
  10. probably have players who bet on the Twins
  11. Yes, we are. 2003 Tigers were destined to break the 120 barrier and won 5 out of 6 at the end to avoid it. Don't take anything for granted. 2009: Clinch Day (Thursday day game) - all the Tigers had to do to clinch was beat the Twins. They lost and then lost 2 to the White Sox (Miggy had to be bailed out of jail by Dave Dombrowski Friday night, then he played with a hangover, if you remember that disaster - and Leyland botched the rotation)., They had to win the last game just to get to a tiebreaker. Anything can happen.
  12. I don't think the Marlins have the drive to exist.
  13. A lot of Tiger fans seem to think that the Tigers beating the White Sox is automatic. I disagree and I'm a little nervous about how some think it's 2 automatic wins this weekend. It is not. White Sox are playing desperately to avoid 121 losses. Granted, the Tigers are better than the Angels.
  14. Tie game. God I hate the Marlins. I've always hated the stupid Marlins. Stupid team, stupid logo, stupid stadium.
  15. ****ing Marlins.
  16. Come on Miami, don't blow this lead.
  17. Rubio was asked about that this week and he did answer but it was hard to understand him. His mouth was full.
  18. Go Giants. If the Giants win this one, Cowboys fans are going to lose their freaking minds.
  19. All of baseball asks WHO THE HELL ARE THESE GUYS ?
  20. Based on what I have been lip reading from Tarik, Matty V and Jason Foley this team's catch phrase should be **** YEAH
  21. this ****in' team, man
  22. Dear Free Press, please don't print a headline of "CLINCH DAY" in Friday's paper. I remember when you did that for that Thursday game vs. the Twins in 2009 and they lost that game and wound up having a Game 163.
  23. LET'S GO MAR-LINS CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP
