First time I actually seen Rodriguez pitch and he looks physically so much like McKenzie. Like I'm not totally convinced they aren't the same person pitching for both teams today.

It's only "on paper" at this point but I don't think the Lions have had a top 3 O-Line in my lifetime.

I wouldn't be completely against it just cause I have so much faith in Fetter and it would be low risk but after looking at his numbers both statistically and pitch f/x and I have to say that I'm a little skeptical that he can be saved. Again though considering we'd only be on the hook for the league minimum the rest of the season and the fact that we could use some starting pitching I wouldn't be opposed to it. It's not like we don't have guys that we could cut to make room for him either, if our 40 was filled with guys that I'd be worried about losing that would be another thing that would deter me from the move but that's not the case.

Uh Oh I see a few clouds by my house and I heard there was a chance of rain sometime in the next week so I wonder if this one is going to be postponed just to be safe.

Dallas Keuchel DFA'd by the White Sox, my first thought was to claim him and hope that Fetter/AJ could turn him around but after looking at his stats I didn't realize he has been THAT bad. He was pretty horrendous last year as well so maybe he is just toast.

Kriedler currently a double for 4 in Toledo and Greene is 0-2 in Lakeland. Interesting that he is playing RF while Campos is playing CF.

Somebody posted a stat on Twitter yesterday that the Tigers are 15-7 in games they score 3 plus runs and 1-21 when they don't, so maybe now we just need to ask before the game "wheres my 3 runs?"

Atleast the Tigers are starting to pick up the pace a little hr wise. For awhile there they were on pace to hit less than Bonds and McGwire once hit themselves.

Ive heard that the NBA is seeking 75 billion for their next tv deal which is in I believe 24 or 2025. That's like quadruple what they are getting now so if they get that 20 million a year for Grant probably won't look too bad.

Also in regards to Mize, the team can only draft the players that are available and looking at the first 10 picks in that draft and none of them have amounted to anything as of yet. India was good last year but has been below replacement level this year, Bohm and Kelenic have been busts at the mlb level, Madigral has already been traded and appears to have a limited ceiling. Bart has a small big league sample but in it he has been terrible. So really if all the options end up being terrible can you really fault the Tigers if their draft pick doesn't pan out?

Well if Greene and Tork end up being stars I think that would offset the potential busts of Manning and Mize. That would essentially be about a 50% hit rate on your top 10 picks(not counting jobe) which I would imagine is about the best you could realistically hope for.

After Hill's infield single Cmo did the whole Major League II rant that the coach said to Hayes about how he should never hit a ball in the air instead just hit groundballs and use his speed. Dan didn't know how to respond to that.

I remember when we first drafted Porcello there were talks we be the modern day Braves with him JV, Bonderman and Miller. We got one ace out of the 4, one servicable starter in Rick, a stud reliever(well not us but you get the picture) and a flame out. If we could get something similar out of our top 4 now that wouldn't be the worst thing.

It would be nice if we got atleast one ace out of our "big 3". I suppose realistically 1 out of 3 was probably the best we could've hoped for.

Are they allowed to trade a 1st? I thought I heard somewhere that they can't trade a 1st until they convey the one they owe to Houston(I think it was Houston) that they gave up to draft Stewart.

All we needed was Back to back posts of me questioning their scoring drought and Lee bringing up the Castros sucking and we got a home run from a Castro.

I wonder how many 15 or so scoreless inning streaks we have this season like we're on now? Has to be atleast a half dozen right? There was a time when something like this would seem really crazy but now it's a weekly occurrence.

Sounds like the Tigers got screwed by instant replay again, Dan and Cmo seem to think Hill was clearly safe after looking at replay.

Since 2016 every year Grossman had an obp of .337 or higher with many of those years being .360 or higher so even though he struggled this year he had a 7 year stretch of getting on base at a solid to plus rate. Ill put more stock in that then a bad 4 or 5 week stretch to start this year.

Yeah I thought the Mini MIggy thing was strictly looks wise and how Miggy took him under his wing and had nothing to do with actual skill. When Garcia first got called up he was basically attached at Miggy's hip when they weren't on the field.

Kinda surprised we are actually better offensively relative to the league than last year. I mean I knew we sucked at this point last year too but this year just seems so much worse offensively, even when you factor in scoring being down.

Considering the Twins scored 4 runs through 5 batters I will take a close defeat like that. I thought it was going to be bloodbath after that.
