Alot to give up but Wilson makes Denver a legit Super Bowl threat now.

I loved him talking about hand size on this same show. He showed his hands and I believe he said they measured at 10 3'4, whatever it was the other dude looked it up and confirmed that Leaf's hands were bigger than all other QBs in the league right now. Leaf then goes "Yeah and we all saw how well my big hands worked out for me." lol

LOCKOUT '22: When will we see baseball again?
RandyMarsh replied to Motor City Sonics's topic in Detroit Tigers
Yes, I mentioned above that the Dodgers have a 240 million a year local TV deal, where as the Tigers while still in the top 10 in that regard only have an 84 million dollar deal and some teams are below 50. The Dodgers can carry a 200+ million dollar payroll and know that they are going to make money before the team sells a single ticket or gets any other sorta revenue.- 1,851 replies

The Dodgers get about 170 million more a year from their local TV deal than your average team. That gives them such an unfair advantage over every other team.- 1,851 replies

Since January 1st when Cade started to really start playing better the Pistons are a respectable 12-14 in games he played in. If he continues that trajectory, they add a good player in the draft and add a piece or 2 in the offseason and this could be a playoff team next year. -

Pistons hang on for yet another win 113-110. Yeah it may not be ideal for their draft status but I am enjoying these wins. -

Cade taking over in OT, 7pts and 1 assist in 3 minutes thus far. -

I thought the foul on the Hawks against Cade was a little light considering the circumstance but the foul on Bagley was definitely the right call. -

Atlanta makes 1 of 2 FTs and we are going to overtime. -

lol and now a foul on the Pistons on the inbound. Can't say I ever remember seeing back to back fouls on inbound plays with 1.6 seconds left. -

Whoa shocked they called that foul there but I'll take it. Cade makes 2 clutch FTs to give the Pistons a 1pt lead with 1.6 remaining. -

Of course I jinx him, I think he's 0-5 since this post including an airball and that crucial miss there. -

The Pistons may have something with Bagley, particularly when Cade is on the floor. -

This is only the 2nd time I've seen Livers with the Pistons but both times I watched him he has impressed me. Hasn't done nothing spectacular or anything but he just looks like he belongs out there, which considering where he was picked and how he is just coming back from a major injury is pretty impressive. imo -

Killian with a great 3 quarter court pass to Olynyk for the easy layup. -

Last I looked it was still chet, Paulo and Jabari in the top tier followed by Ivey and others in the next tier according to the national pundits. Of course their rankings aren't gospel but if you do believe in them then the Pistons will probably need to pick 4th if you want Ivey. If they pick 3rd they'll probably just take whoever falls to them out of that top tier. Btw do you think Ivey would be a good fit with Cade? His athleticism would certainly be needed but he seems like he would need to dominate the ball to be the most effective. -
I suppose I should've checked his combine numbers before posting. Of course watching him on film he appears to play very fast so perhaps he is one of those guys who's game speed is faster than their 40 suggests.

I really like Hamilton as an option if Hutch or trade down can't happen. I know conventional wisdom suggests that is way too early for a safety but I think he is so much more than just a standard safety. He can provide value in a number of a different ways and unlike players at other positions he is the defacto number 1 at his.

I feel with this current Pistons team much like how I felt with the Lions and this draft and that's that there's nobody at the top of the draft that I'm overly excited about and if we end up drafting worse cause of "meaningless" wins so be it. I put meaningless in quotes cause I feel that there is some value in winning and closing out games when you have as many young players on the team that should be a part of our future as we do. -
The thing about Willis is that the question marks that people have about him can't really be answered at the combine. Like his ability to go through multiple reads, handle more complex defenses and just the overall concerns about the level of competition that he played against. I guess Trey Lance was somewhat similar and the 49ers gave up a ton to move up to insure him at number 3 so perhaps a team will do the same thing for Willis.

Pistons win 108-106. Cade with a huge block on a would be lay up at the end. He finishes with 22(9-20) 12 boards and 5 assists. Once/if he ever gets the benefit of the whistle his numbers are going to look alot better. I saw atleast a handful of shots that could've easily been called fouls but weren't. -
I just measured my hands how they do at the combine(tip of thumb to tip of pinky in an outstretched hand) and they measured in between 9 1/2 and 9 3/4(which is right about the average NFL QB size, Pickett was at 8 1/2) My fingers though are relatively short compared to my hand size, I get my size from my palm width. So if they measured my hands they would grade out fine but I dont think palm width is all that beneficial when it comes to holding a football. It seems like a better way to measure qbs is the size from base of hand where it meets the wrist to the tip of the finger.

Willis already wowing at the combine, yeah he's going to be the first QB off the board.
