  1. Green is the driest? I wouldn't have expected Las Vegas to be green.
  2. These were all the same arguments leftist rat****er Andy Levin used against Stevens when he got crushed. You left out blaming the Jews like they did back then. Stevens endorsed a socially liberal mayor 9 years ago vs El-Sayed last year during the most important election in the history of this country supporting a campaign against the Dem nominee and only person to defeat Trump. I will not vote for El-Sayed. I'll write in Jill Stein. I have no more ****s to give. It's about time I have a purity test for once. McMorrow decided after the primary when all the votes were counted and Biden won the nomination that my vote shouldn't count and she knows better. If she thinks my vote is meaningless, why should I give it to her? Process of elimination leaves Stevens.
  3. In the Midterms I have: Gov: Benson AG: McDonald SOS: Byrum Senate: Stevens MI-10: Hines I'm a definite no on McMorrow. Maybe I'll come around if she wins the nomination. I will not under any circumstance vote for El-Sayed and will write in Jill Stein.
  4. The cap in 2020 was $198 million and today it is $279 million. That is an increase of 40%. Joey Bosa was the highest paid pass rusher at $27 million. Today the going rate is about $40 million, a 48% increase. Bosa was 13%of the cap and $40 million would only be 14%, but we are talking about two top pass rushers. 28% of the cap to two players at the same position. That’s just not sustainable and you’ll lose players at other positions plus your draft picks. Plus, Parsons isn’t even a great fit.
  5. Hutchinson and Parson would take up 25-30% of the cap. More than double Miller and Ware. I would rather have Hutchinson/Branch/Gibbs/Laporta and whoever they draft with the picks they trade.
  6. Might as well get it over with, why won't Brad Holmes trade for Terry McLaurin?
  7. If Holmes traded for any one of the shiny objects you wanted before, there would be no room for Parsons, or Hutchinson, or potentially Laporta, Branch, Gibbs, Williams, etc. To bring this to reality, no team can afford to pay over $80 million in just pass rushers. On top of that, Parsons isn't even a scheme fit. He's not the physical edge setter who is stout in the run game like the Lions want. BTW, neither Garrett or Hendrickson have been traded and Parsons may not either.
  8. San Diego is one of the safest major cities in the US. Its murder rate is half that of the US and significantly less than Louisville. San Diego recorded only 35 murders in 2024. Louisville recorded 143 and Louisville is half the size. Even most property crime in San Diego is below the US average. Keep in mind this is a border city on the busiest border crossing in the western hemisphere.
  9. The Lions only scored 3 points in their preseason opener last year.
  10. I think it would be hard to tell as in the preseason you run a pretty vanilla scheme.
  11. The Democrats have said no such thing and once again a culture war is manufactured.
  12. I also imagine there is panic in Detroit when a tackle lines up across Hutchinson.
  13. I mean, I did injure my toe and I'm day to day. There was concern it was turf toe but tests revealed it is just gout.
  14. It's also a good sign how quickly Mahogany shot up the depth chart. He blew past Sorsdal who was drafted a year before him. I have a feeling Sorsdal doesn't make the roster.
  15. Keep in mind that most of the Lions stars are in years 3-4. We may not have even seen the best from guys like Gibbs, Laporta, St Brown, Williams, Sewell, Hutchinson, Campbell, Arnold, Branch, and Joseph. You really only have guys like Decker and Reader who could be in for decline.
  16. A lot of them are in swing districts, and some like John James, are trying to run for governor in a swing state.
  17. I would also add that a competitive gubernatorial election would be more beneficial for congressional swing districts.
  18. I like how he types tweets like he's on an early 00's flip phone.
