    There was a stretch in the 00's where a Detroit team was in the championship almost every year. 2002: Red Wings 2003: None 2004: Pistons 2005: Pistons 2006: Tigers 2007: None 2008: Red Wings 2009: Red Wings The last Detroit team to even make the playoffs was the currently 2-27 Pistons.

    By beating the Cowboys and Vikings, both teams the Eagles have played, the Lions would overtake the Eagles on record in common games. Until then, they are tied on record in common games so it goes to strength of victory.

    They would win the tiebreaker if the Lions win out but as of today if the Eagles win they would hold the tiebreaker due to strength of victory. I just need a reason to watch this Broncos game.

    This team came into this season with hype and high expectations and they basically went wire to wire. There never really was a point in this season where the Lions weren't in total command of the division.

    Remember, Reynolds originally signed with the Titans over the Lions and ended up getting waived. He's only been successful in this league with Goff as his QB.

    Lions pretty much lead wire to wire. I think technically after week two when the Lions were tied with the Packers they held the tiebreaker.
