Two top 10 players in one draft is pretty good. McNeil looks like he could at least be a solid starter or good rotational guy, Barnes showed talent and upside but overall was not good. I feel like those are correctable issues though. Jefferson looked decent when he played. Melifonwu is incomplete. Showed some potential. Levi was the only real disappointment.

She voted for Trump in 2020 knowing he was going to contest the election. She has voted against the Voting Rights act. She sided with Trump 90% of the time. She's fine with suppressing the vote as long as it doesn't go as far as an insurrection.

Add Liz Cheney to this list. I haven't forgotten who she really is.

Goff had one of the highest QB ratings in the NFL when Campbell was calling plays. Don't mess with a good thing. Promote Ben Johnson and let Campbell continue to call plays. If Campbell needs to give up play calling duties, I'm sure Johnson can handle it.

I can see where Sean Payton rubbed off on him and this Lions offense is similar to the Saints offense. The Saints run the ball a lot and relied on two backs. Goff and Brees have a similar skillset. Brees was never a big arm QB and relied on accuracy much the way Goff does. Those Saints teams were always aggressive on both sides of the ball much like this Lions team is.

I didn't have Trey Lance going 3rd last year, much less the 49ers trading three 1st round picks, so I think a QB will rise and the Lions are in a good position ahead of Houston. I would look at Carolina as a potential trade partner. Picking up a future 1st would be worth it to trade down.

I love how Trumpers would hammer Democrats on inner city crime and how they were going to dominate the suburbs and will turn around and vote for the police chief of the city with one of the highest crime rates in the country.

He's going to get a head coaching job sooner or later. He'll probably get a lot of interviews to satisfy the Rooney rule.

Rick Spielman did work in the Lions front office back in the 90's. There's a connection there so I wouldn't be surprised.

There's a lot of buzz going around about the Giants and the Lions. The buzz around the Lions and Campbell has been positive. The buzz around Judge and the Giants is negative. Judge decided to mail it in. He ran three straight QB sneaks and punted on one drive. Players around the league want to play for a coach and team that wants to win. The Lions have the reputation of being a perpetual loser. You don't shake that image by throwing games to climb one spot up in the draft. A lot of these players may not be here when or if the Lions get good, but right now there is a lot more positive vibes around the Lions than teams like Jacksonville, Houston, Giants etc. This matters when trying to attract and retain talent.

If they go outside the organization, I would look at Ronald Curry of the Saints. A lot of overlap with the Campbell.

I'm old enough to remember when Campbell was the worst coach for electing to receive.

Any team that throws a game just to draft 1 instead of 2 will never win even if they get the 1st pick. There is still a great chance the Lions will get the player they want. If they don't, they will get a very good player. There is more than one player in this draft. Players don't care about draft position. They go out to win. If they see management purposely trying to lose a game for draft position, you will lose the locker room.

The Bears coming into this season were the 2nd oldest team in the league. Their defense was the oldest in the league. They've traded away multiple 1st round picks. The Lions meanwhile were the 2nd youngest in the league and have multiple 1st round picks. Unless Fields becomes an absolute stud, I think the Lions can over take the Bears even with Goff.

What are the chances the Lions add Rick Spielman to their front office? It would seem to make a lot of sense.
