Not sure the point being made here, but Johnson was a generational talent putting up big numbers before Stafford and in the two seasons were Stafford missed a lot of time. Golladay was a receiver who never got separation. Guys like Tyrell Williams and Perriman averaged more yards of separation. Golladay is a receiver who is good at catching the ball in traffic and winning those 50/50 throws. Stafford is a gun slinger who can fit it in those tight windows. The combination worked well. Golden Tate is another receiver we forget that fell off rather dramatically after leaving Stafford and the Giants got burned on that one as well. Marvin Jones is the only one to really maintain his production.
