  1. Sudfeld should be cut on Monday. He’s taking up a roster spot at this point. This guy is in his 7th year and he looks as out of place as a rookie throwing his first pass. There’s no reason why he still has an NFL job.
  2. My thoughts too. Scrap the entire concept of divisions and come up with something new. This is a brand new world with massive conferences and the same old way of doing things won’t work.
  3. I’m of the belief that Geography doesn’t matter. Vegas always makes sense for a big sporting event. People will travel to Vegas for an event they may not have otherwise in a different city. It’s worked for years with trade shows.
  4. I had some similar seats for USC games back in the day. I loved the view when they were in my end but hated it when the ball was on the other side of the field. I was too low to get a good perspective of what was happening when they weren’t on my side. I found myself watching the Jumbotron more often than not in those situations.
  5. You continue to get this wrong. He’s not being punished for jaywalking. He was stopped for jaywalking and would’ve gotten a $50 ticket that he should’ve paid and ended it all and gone on with his life. Instead, he and chose to repeatedly lie to the cop and argue with him to the point that he got charged with a more serious crime. I will agree with that no other coach would get this penalty. They all would’ve taken the minor infraction with no penalty instead of being a stubborn ass and turning a nothingburger into a 4 game suspension and all for something that nobody including yourself denies that he did.
  6. It’s crazy that one guy gets 4 games for purposely lying to the NCAA about an infraction that he absolutely committed while another guy gets fired for hearsay on events that he was a 3rd party. Bull**** indeed.
  7. Fitting on this day to remember two of the greatest documentaries ever made. Honestly these are some of the best films of any type. True classics. RIP Sixto & Robbie
  8. Zero chance signing Teddy turns out worse than having Nate Sudfield as backup. Full confidence in this move.
  9. Zero chance and full confidence, huh. Reynolds gets hurt and can’t start the year and he’s getting cut. Reynolds gets arrested for doing something dumb and he’s getting cut. Reynolds gets suspended by the NFL for gambling and he’s getting cut. Zero chance and full confidence means no qualifiers.
  10. That wouldn’t be a surprise. He’s a bust pick from the old regime. I expect Jonah Jackson will be the only player left from the 2020 draft on this roster. I’ll throw one surprise out. Josh Reynolds.
  11. It will be a Hollywood ending when Caleb Williams wins his 2nd Heisman and leads USC to the PAC-12’s only title of the playoff era.
  12. They are Anzalonian.
  13. A 20 team conference is uncharted territory. I don’t see the 2 big divisions working in anyone’s best interest. It’s just how we’ve always done things in the past so it’s natural to start there. I’m not seeing how it’s possible to avoid a massive disparity in conference SoS between teams. The problem is there is no easy solution. Ideally, there would be a 2 week, 4 team playoff to determine conference champion but how would that work and get scheduled. Could a professional style or 4 divisions of 5 teams work? Who knows but this will all have to get figured out and it’s no easy task.
  14. Dude, this is an incredible idea! Even cooler is since it’s the Rose Bowl parade maybe all the floats are made from rose petals.
  15. A brilliant idea.
  16. Great move scooping up your season tickets. I know I personally questioned the rationale for anyone getting seasons but they do have great value if the team is good and tickets are expensive and hard to find on the secondary market.
  17. If you have a free 90 minutes, the latest Inside The Den on YouTube is out and it’s unreal. Amazing insight on the picks and how the team viewed them. Great work from the Lions media team. Spoiler: They viewed this as a weak draft. They only had 14 players with first round grades and they ended up with 4 of them.
  18. Nothing wrong with that at all. The reality is we are dealing with so many unknowns regarding what’s really happened with Erod that any opinion is based on so much assumption that may or may not turn out to be true in the future.
  19. Pennant race still means the battle for the playoffs
  20. ERod has shown in his 2 years here that he only cares about what’s best for him. The team is secondary. That won’t change if the Tigers sign him to a long term deal. I’m not sure why thats a good idea for a young team trying to build a solid winning foundation for the future. As Mike Singletary said “Can’t win with those guys”
  21. It’s about wanting to compete and win. That should mean something as an athlete. If it doesn’t then he’s just cashing paychecks. I’m not understanding the first part about honor in a pennant. The most important 1/3 of the season still remains and any marquee player traded today will have a big impact on if their new team makes the playoffs. It’s not like someone’s just getting added to the roster at the end of the season, the pennant race is just getting started.
  22. But we don’t know it either of these things are true. Nobody outside still knows the reason for last year and we don’t know if the reason for turning down this trade was for his love of the Tigers and wanting to stay here. What we do know is that he went awol for an extended period of time last year, and he chose not to compete in the pennant race this year.
  23. How can they possibly commit longterm to him? He went AWOL last year and neglected to communicate with the team. Still, they stood by him and even paid him without challenge. This year, he refuses a trade to play for a contender in a playoff race. How can any competitive athlete just straight out reject the opportunity to play meaningful games in a playoff race? Mind boggling. This guy is a piece of work and is not someone that you build a culture of winning around. They are best to just take the draft pick and let this headcase be someone else’s problem in the future.
  24. Hoping now for a Dylan Cease trade to the NL. That should account for 2 extra Tigers wins next year.
  25. It’s become such a racket. I agree with everything you said and I’m also in the same boat. $1200 a month and still paying bills at the doctors
