Having to pay for past performances that you didn’t bear any fruit is the downside of every big free agent signing.
The Lions are entering a win now stage where a risk on a big free agent at the expense of draft capital may not be a bad idea. They don’t have nearly as many holes as they did a few years ago. Brad has also shown an uncanny ability to find diamonds outside the first two rounds. Don’t get me wrong, draft picks are important but they are in a spot where they could roll the dice at giving up a few picks.
I think there’s just as likely a chance that Warde blames the season on Juwan’s recovery from heart surgery and gives him a free pass to return next year.
No way. Criticism online, over the air, or in the paper, is part of the job. In person at the game is not. That’s crossing a boundary and would get the same response from most GM’s in the league.
I only made it to about the 20 second mark where she tells America that she named her son Ridgeway. WTF is wrong with her. That’s not a child’s name. That’s a name you give to a rehab center where people go for 30 days to kick their pill jones.
The only way that Tarasenko becomes a factor is if the Florida Panthers have figured out how to master time travel.
Odds are very high that he gets hurt in the next two weeks. He’s due.
Is it possible to move him to another position within the organization?
I’m thinking he’s better suited for day manager of the Little Caesar’s in Clawson.
It’s another Friday/Saturday race week from Jeddah. Expecting Red Bull to score maximum points again. I hope that Ferrari can at least make it hard on them this week.
Not saying you are wrong. It’s definitely in Brad’s MO. But what’s he going to do with that $50M in cap money if he doesnt spend in FA? Obviously, a good portion will go to extensions but unless he frontloads at least one there still would seem to be a nice pile of money left around.
This is exactly the problem. You don’t have to be a good kicker to put it in the endzone every time. These legs have gotten so strong that every guy in the league can do it easily.
I like the change as it puts a priority on precision. Not everyone can kick it high and drop it right into a tight spot. That should become the new measure for a good kickoff guy.
I honestly didn’t watch enough Seahawks or Broncos game to make a judgement but this is now two teams that chose to take huge dead cap hits to get rid of this guy. That’s telling. I think he really could be washed up. Another awesome mobile QB that turned into a pumpkin when asked to use his head and arm instead of hit feet.
