He’d be the most important Frenchman in this town since Cadillac.

As constructed currently, this Bills team has been hindered by playing outdoors.

I’ve got interest in almost all of these players. Really like Torrance, Benton, and Kelly. Intrigued by Benton, Brooks, and Spears.

Great way to start off Friday. This will never get old. Btw, I love the in game audio.

My first thought is it looks like RB has 3 more seasons of competitive racing before it all goes to shit. In all seriousness, it’s great to get Ford back into F1.

So funny. I was going to post this here a few days ago but the phone rang and I never came back to it. The things that Les Claypool could do with a bass is amazing (still can do btw).

If you like the heist genre then you will like Kaleidoscope on Netflix. Giancarlo Esposito is his usual fantastic self and the gimmick is pretty unique.

For as much of a Bears fan as you are, I’m surprised you don’t like Harbaugh more. He was a really good player for you guys.

Keep loving on the Bears. If I were to call your phone right now, I bet the ringtone would be Bear Down, Chicago Bears.

Losing in the 1st round of the playoffs as the defending champ after going 14-2 is a disappointing season. There aren’t any 25 or 50 year reunion celebrations of the 86 Bears. 10-6 - shutout in NFC Champ 15-1 - One of Greatest teams ever 14-2 - upset 1st round 11-4 - upset 1st round 12-4 - scored 3 points and destroyed in NFC Champ 6-10 - missed 11-5 - scored 3 points and destroyed in NFC Champ 11-5 - upset in 1st round of the playoffs. 1 great team and a bunch of underachieving good ones.

They had one amazing team in 85 and arguably one of the most disappointing in 86. Granted they did get fucked by Charles Martin. Can you imagine if this happened today and caused someone like Mahomes to be out for the season. Cant forget the best part, Martin had the numbers of Bears players on his hit list on his towel. Straight savage. He got 2 a game suspension. He’d be banned forever if that happened now.

Bears fans live in a fantasy world. They are pretty much the same pathetic franchise as the Lions except the Bears have had 2 great seasons in the last 65 years and the Lions none.

That OL would’ve gotten Goff killed by Week 5.

There are too many maybes with him. The only for sure is his athleticism and running ability and as you stated both are detrimental to a QB’s ability to stay healthy. He would make a fantastic QB/WR/RB combo in the mode of a Hines Ward or Randel-El. Odds are way in favor of him being more sizzle than substance as a QB and will most likely get hurt. Great for Lions fans that the Bears are going all in on him.

Read the article. Everything about it is wrong, how they value Fields, the perceived market for Fields, the Lions level of interest, the lack of fit with the Lions and where they are now. None of it makes sense. Fields is great for fantasy football managers and that’s it. It’s way more than just need to improve throwing the ball. He has shown very little ability to run an offense and make quality decisions and those are the main qualities of what has made the Lions offense successful. I wouldn’t trade just the 6 pick for Fields. Shit, I may not trade just 56. He’s not a fit here.

The off-season is early but I’d like to nominate this as dumbest Lions draft scenario. I feel confident this will be the worst NFL article you read all day.

Without knowing much about their pending FA’s, I don’t think the Broncos are that far away. They had top 10 defense in all categories and that’s with a -1 turnover margin. Javonte Williams got hurt early and never got a chance to take off. KJ Hamler only played half the season and TE Greg Dulcich came on late before getting hurt. If they can solidify the OL, even a declining Russ can get these guys in the playoff’s. If they can get Russ figured out, who knows how far Payton can take them.

There will be many options available at G that will come cheaper, younger, and with less medical risk than Vaitai.
-
It would’ve been a much more realistic view had they shown it with the front end mashed up and the spoiler damaged.

This would be to be someone’s starting Center. I’d assume he’s 100% leaving us for the opportunity to start at his natural position and get a huge pay upgrade. He played great as a center when Ragnow went down in 2021. He was average to poor at G this past season filling in for HV.

Sewell will be in his 3rd year coming off a pro bowl season. The training wheels are gone. He doesn’t need a veteran mentor to help with confidence anymore.
-
I left out Brockers because he’s 100% gone. He was a healthy scratch the last 5 games anyway. Vaitai is going to have to take a pay cut wherever he goes so maybe he would resign for a cheap deal. Personally, I am not interested because his injury history. I would expect them to draft a guard somewhere and have him turn into another Holmes special that will be better than Vaitai anyway. Btw, where does your information come from that makes you certain the Lions will keep Vaitai.
-
$30M is actually a bargain for the numbers he put up last year. I think it comes down to how active they plan to be in free agency. Assuming Vaitai, Harris, and Romeo are cut, they should have enough to sign a quality player and a few smaller ones without having to touch Goff. If they have bigger plans then they will need to get creative and wouldn’t surprise me to see them extend.

NCAA is preparing new measures in its attempt to crack down on NIL in recruiting. Uncertain if they will try and retroactively punish some of the schools for events that have happened in the last 2 recruiting cycles or if they will try from this point forward. Either way they will probably fail like they always do. It’s the NCAA.
