The forum Is a bit of a mess. I have no idea which thread we are supposed to talk about Pistons trades.

Un****ingbelievable

Since I don’t have a graduate math degree, is taking the two worst players in this mammoth trade what the Pistons needed to do for cap purposes in order to take advantage of the earlier KJ Martin trade?

It’s been 7 seasons since Jimmy Butler was able to play more than 60 games. He’s played more than 70 games only twice in a 14 year career.

Since we are quoting songs from Remain in the Light , Crosseyed and Painless is my favorite. It’s also fitting for the thread. Facts are simple and facts are straight Facts are lazy and facts are late Facts all come with points of view Facts don't do what I want them to Facts just twist the truth around Facts are living turned inside out Facts are getting the best of them Facts are nothing on the face of things Still waiting, still waiting, still waiting, still waiting Still waiting, still waiting, still waiting, still waiting Still waiting, still waiting, still waiting, still waiting

They should change the name to what everyone else calls their group - ****ing Idiots.

I have more confidence in the existence of Bigfoot than I do of the DNC not ****ting all over itself.

Yzerman’s not trading a first for a could be. It’s got be someone that’s proven themselves in the league and can plug right into the top 6.

As a side note, the NBA and the Players Union have made a complete mockery of the salary cap system. You need a team of quants to fully understand how every last piece works. It’s way too complicated for 99% of fans to really comprehend.

KJ stands for Kenyon Jr. Unfortunately, he’s not quite the player as his pops.

Michigan Football 2024 aka The Year Michigan has to Defend a Natty
Hongbit replied to romad1's topic in College Sports
It’s a sad story of being so close to a lifelong dream and losing it forever right as it was about to happen. I don’t think he did anything wrong since sign stealing is perfectly legal. I don’t feel the same way about Michigan coaches and administrators. They did him no favors and are probably guilty of yet again covering something up and making a nothing story much bigger than it needed to be. -
I suspect there are teams that still like and value Bregman but have no interest in giving in to Boras games. Would rather be out and move on than let him win.

I said it above. I don’t automatically equate breaking a minor NCAA rule as doing something wrong. The doc doesn’t necessarily paint UM in the best light. Certainly not biased towards the coaches. They and Stalions appear to have openly and continually lied to investigators about what they did. The doc makes it seem as if there was a cover up. That is a big problem and why Michigan is still dealing with it. Much like Burgergate, they should’ve to come clean right from the start. As for Stalions, he was fired and is done as a college coach so he has no reason to cooperate with the NCAA or even tell them the truth. -
I can’t imagine what Amen with a shot would look like. Probably battling Wemby for best player in the league in 4-5 years.

It’s the Raiders. Big mistakes are their specialty.

The NFL bends the knee.

I think Jamo is going to be a star but I would do that deal for sure. Garrett already is a star and would immediately take the defense to another level. I don’t see Crosby being available. Pete Carroll will do what Pete Carroll does and spread his infectious enthusiasm and Maxx will recant his trade demands (at least until they are 1-6).

I brought the topic up last summer but it would be so easy for an MLB umpire to fix results for the gambling community. Much easier than maybe any other sport. The ability now to bet on props like runs scored or not in the first inning, pitcher strikeouts or total batters faced could be easily manipulated solely by the home plate umpire. The more that MLB and the umpires union continue to ignore poorly called games without any questions or potential punishment for the umpire makes it even easier to do without getting caught. MLB believes that umps work by a code to honor and protect the sanctity of the game. I am sure that almost all of them do but it just takes one to see it as a job they do to make money and pay the bills. Another reason they need roboumps.

I agree and that’s why it’s a waste of time using NCAA rules to determine if something was right or wrong. -
Ausar can be really good but Amen is better. He’s a got superstar potential.
