Very true on Victor. He’s actually filing out a little and there’s muscle definition starting in his arms and legs that wasn’t there a year ago. Not the case with Chet who still looks like a shorter Manute Bol.

Chet has skills that haven’t been seen before from a 7 foot with a slight frame. He can do things that make you stop and rewind to figure out if what you just watched was real for someone that size. Still, I am not sure how any of his game translates into the NBA. For as much skill as he has, the only thing that really projects is the same as all the other tall, lanky sticks that have come before him, shot blocker that can help on defense. He’s got to put on weight but he’s heard that since he was 14 and it hasn’t happened. Hard to trust that it ever will. I see him as a guy that can find a role and play a long time in the league but I’m not sure he’s star material.

Probably not but definitely a bigger chance since the GOP are scummier than the Dems and will stoop to any level to control power.

The court has been too politicized for that to ever happen with a Democrat in office.

Fields had medical question marks which played a big role in him slipping down the board. Where the franchise is at now and the top of this draft class makes the risk/reward of taking a shot Willis a much better proposition than the situation last year had they reached for Fields.

Exactly. They are going to have to take a shot at finding their franchise QB very soon anyway. Also, if do it now, they have a veteran QB in place for next year so they can sit Malik and let him learn year one on the bench.

Lance had great numbers in FCS playing on the most talented team. Hard to compare stats to Willis playing in D1. Very true there is danger. Most prospects are dangerous even the “safe picks” like Jeff Okudah.

He looks great throwing it around ( as he should with no defenders or pass rush) If Trey Lance can go #3 there’s no reason why he can’t do the same. I think he’s a better prospect.
