There were many teams that dropped all the Russians down their boards and some entirely off it. The recent issues that have come up with army responsibilities that have been ignored in the past are a potential concern. Nobody is sure even if the veteran Russian players that went home for the summer will have issues when they try to leave. This should create nice later round value for teams like the Wings that don’t care are willing to get value and wait until these tensions pass.

I like the Husso move. He’s got a high upside. I’m still confused about Ned. Is he a league average GK or is there something much better there. He had some nice stretches and some completely awful ones. Not sure how much weight to give it since the atrocious defensive prowess playing in front of him. And we are back where we started. What does Dylan want? We have no idea. Does he want to go somewhere else and get playoff experience and most likely fill up the stat sheet playing with better players. Does he want to stay here and be part of the turnaround. Only he knows.

I don’t think so. Eichel has scored 50 goals in a season. Larkin is probably capable in the right surroundings but hasn’t come close. Jack produced much more than Larkin and is viewed by the league on a whole different level than Dylan.

I don’t see any way they give that much up for Larkin. Not a chance. I’m not even sure they’d include even one of Rossi or Boldy. Those are their building blocks.
