can we get Alexander out of there before somebody gets hurt? He's not fooling anyone and they are punishing the ball. -

Barnhart with a hit to the warning track? Give him credit for a HR already. -

Mebbe. It does make sense though to give the reps to guys who will likely be counted on as contributors next season. -
I keep seeing the Twitter bubble referenced—not sure who all this entails, but the ones I’m aware of I view mostly as Tigers fans. Emily seems nice, but it seems like she is typically sharing information that she comes across. I view Dan Hasty as an employee of the Tigers org and he is probably the most sunny and optimistic guy on the platform—he’d find positives in Jeffrey Dahmer if he was a Whitecap. Chris C doesn’t profess to be an analyst—just a very engaging and passionate super fan. Not sure who else is part of the Twitter mafia, but I really doubt that anyone here puts too much stock in any of it. I’ve learned much more from people here, like Gehringer, mutiger, Buddha, etc.. even still, I don’t agree with all of their perspectives. It’s called critical thinking, and we all possess it. To suggest otherwise is both incorrect and douchy.

for what it is worth, we've seen pretty good development and performance from our pitching prospects. the issue has been keeping them healthy. Mize had a solid rookie last year, and it wouldn't have been unreasonable to think he could have improved upon that. Skubal make improvements this season. Manning has looked pretty good so far in '22, when healthy. Hill and Brieske have overachieved while rushed into service (of course Brieske got injured). The relievers mostly have put together good performances (Lange, Foley, Vest, Jiminez, Soto). No one is a slam-dunk, but have been more pretty good than bad and are young enough to improve. I'm not smart enough to know if Flores or Madden (or Olson, D. Smith, etc..) will be best suited as starters or relievers, but look like they will be able to make a contribution at the MLB level. Assuming they can stay healthy, of course.

Agree. He said he needed to work on his mental health, which could be a number of things, which are all personal and should be treated that way. I appreciate that he shared as much as he did, hopefully inspiring others to take any necessary steps for themselves.

That you’re insufferable about this? You’re welcome. You still haven’t provided an update on your prospect list.
-
So I’m clear—you discreetly DM’d him to make him aware of his mistake?
-
Glad to see you’re consistent on Twitter, too. What’s the value in bullying or calling out others that lack your superior analytical skills? This isn’t the first time you’ve run over here to degrade someone who is just trying to provide content. btw, how’s your updated Tigers prospect list coming?

At least they earned it.

dude has 3,254 career AB's in the majors and can't figure things out on his own? He's also hitting .226 with the Braves. That "improvement" says more about Robbie than any perceived coaching help.

The return of Matt Boyd -
I would not be surprised to see the Tigers make another push for Correa. They must know they can’t keep Baez at SS for the next 5 seasons and getting Correa would engender some goodwill with the fans.

I think the catcher deserves as much credit in these situations. You have a 200 lb guy barreling in on you, and you have to make the catch and apply a perfect tag, all within a split second. Great execution all around.
-
Baez will be an overpaid 2B, who hopefully can rebound and get closer to his typical numbers. Having Correa playing next to him in the field and lineup might get him going.

some of our better starting pitching prospects this season (not including Brieske and Hill). players are listed with their current team, though most pitched at multiple levels, included in the totals. Worth noting that Chance Kirby, who hasn't been discussed much, is old (27) for AA: Ideally, a couple of these guys emerge as rotation options, or can turn into useful bullpen arms. Combined with some combination of the current mix (Eduardo Rodriguez, Matt Manning, Spencer Turnbull ('23), Brieske ('23), Hill ('23), Faedo ('23), Mize ('24) and Skubal ('23-'24), this has the makings of some good starting pitching depth. Even with this potential depth, we will likely need to sign another veteran starter for next season to address all of the injury uncertainty.

A few outliers, but most look like future Tigers

This isn’t aging well 🤪

Maybe we stop monitoring Tork daily? Clearly something is amiss this season. Let’s take a break and revisit in September after the AAA is over.

He just doesn’t want to have his players pay for soda.

Is this our first transaction with Dombrowski since he left?
