we need to stay the course with Torkelson and keep the top prospects in the minors improving for 2024 while we sort out the players on the MLB roster.Though hard to see I actually think we are improving incrementally and need Badoo-Maton-Verling to establish themselves at this level. It's just sad that two consecutive seasons have nose dived because of injuries to Riley Green. But it proves he's pretty good and just one or two more like him might be enough. Too bad it's not Baez and Tork and could still be but my doubts are rising. I was good with getting Baez but man apart from a short stretch last year he has not posted with the bat. Maybe just let him turn and burn. At least he used to mash some of those pitches out of the zone.

On que Monroe says "Badoo needs to make Graveman work " and after Badoo flys out on the first pitch the next statement by Monroes is "Badoo trying to impact the game with his elite power"...

Nor count on him becoming more than a terrible fielding second baseman who can't hit the fastball. But we can hope and I have been more wrong than right so his chances remain . 🙂

I am very happy with Harris and for me Hinch has gone from solid to "not so sure" but not looking for change. I also think he would do very well in sales after his managing days.

Rileys left leg so thats his back and stress leg when hitting if I'm correct so I'm guessing 60 day DL is around the corner.. How does this happen ? Just fragile ? Freak accident ? Erod and Greene for Olson and Marisnick . Ya that will work. Our two most impactful player down at the same time ? WHY ????

It also could have simply been an element of time and priorities. The entire organization- top to bottom- majors and Minors - was mess and Harris had to restructure all of it - coaches- philosophy -training- stadium - nutrition - Medical - moving his family - roster pruning etc takes time as does recruiting free agents.

I understand Miggy's .161 slugging .431 OPS in May is in an entitlement we all must endure but does the man have no shame. And Hinch has selectively chosen his opportunities to reach these lofty goals.

I think Harris will stay the course and trade Rodriguez and possibly Lange at the deadline and if not then this off season. I trust his judgment and that’s the biggest improvement over last year for me.

Maybe Malloy and Keith will just spend the year in the minors..or until September call ups just to work on their defense.

Just play Short more consistently first. He’s a solid defender and better than Schoop Ibanez Joyce etc. I mean don’t overdo it but certainly against lefties.

Holding my breath and rooting hard on Tork that it becomes reality. He, Greene and Skuball are still the main drivers of our future success since their ceilings could be quite high.
