    kyrie irving is a negative asset. he is a sunk cost. they will be unable to trade him and they are not going to re-sign him so the idea of keeping him so you can retain his bird rights seems silly. they can keep him on the roster for this year and hope he figures it out and has a life change at 30. seems unlikely but they dont really have any other options. they arent going to cut him, they'll just keep him away from the team.

    in reality, they shouldnt be in the big ten. the big ten is large state run midwestern universities with good academics and really good graduate programs. northwestern is a smaller private school that doesnt have the larger research programs and facilities like most big ten schools. great school, highest "ranked" academic undergrad in the big ten. but not a fit otherwise. theyre like notre dame except they dont cheat at football recruiting.

    good win. tomorrow against the rangers should be much tougher. can we finally see berggren now that zadina is taking his 0 goal production to the IR?

    oregon lost 49-3. a 14 point loss by tennessee is a far cry from that ass whupping.

    i get the weather, but there is still no way osu shouldnt be able to beat northwestern handily. if michigan destroys rutgers they should be ranked above osu. that said, the last time michigan played rutgers it didnt go so well...so watch out michigan.

    spot on with fitz but collins is getting fired after this year. they also just broke ground on a brand new football stadium. so that will look real good when the team is 1-10 every year and its empty unless theyre playing michigan or ohio state.

    irving is just dumb. have people finally realized that he's a dumb guy? he's made enough money to support him for life (assuming he wont blow it all because, as noted, he's dumb), so who cares? the nets will be better off without him. so will the league.
