not only did they double down and trade tomlinson right when he got good, they also traded a pick they got in the the tomlinson deal in order to trade back up in the draft to take alex carter. one of the picks they used to make that trade turned out to be danielle hunter. oh, and if that werent bad enough, one of the picks they traded to get haloti ngata that year turned out to be z'darius smith. there's a reason why mayhew was fired.
