baez is very streaky. he had a lousy august with the mets and a great september. he didnt change his approach, he just ran into a few more fastballs. baez's 2022 bbref projection: 254/304/462 he's 29. he is who he is at this point. he's better than what we have. he'll be a very frustrating player who will have great highs and low lows. he'll make great plays and then dog it a bunch. that's the way he always was with the cubs. but he will hit some home runs and he will run the bases well and he will provide some flash in the field and he is better than what the tigers have and he'll be cheaper than correa or seager. if youre ok with that for $20-$30 million over 6-8 years, that's what you'll get.
