the universities made themselves targets for this. the president is right to keep as low a profile as possible and let it pass. our orange overlord will ignore you unless youre dumb enough to make him mad. this too shall pass... (and besides, a lot of those dei programs are unconstitutional. theyre better off playing it slow, renaming them, incorporating them into other existing programs and keeping the general principles while not being so blatantly violative of civil rights laws) #soapbox

i dont think desantis is a lunatic. he left because of the money, most likely. michigan's regents have been scrambling lately to get rid of the remnants of dei and the palestinian protestors so as to try to avoid northwestern and columbia's fate. so far they've stayed off the radar even if they are "on the list." maybe he got tired of fighting that battle? not sure how michigan's faculty reacted to some of those moves. but i suspect the reason he left was about the money.

florida is a really good school. and they probably offered him more money and he doesnt have to deal with the lunatics at michigan anymore or if trump decides michigan is on his list. win-win.

none of the above. denver is probably the least objectionable team still standing. or okc. houston and golden state? no on both as long as dillon brooks and draymond greene are playing. minnesota? any team with ant on it owned by arod is not a team worth rooting for.

just so folks arent confused, they had a better offer than the rams, but there is no evidence anyone else wanted to trade up for teslaa. others are assumed to have wanted to trade up for gillotte. in fact, its what the jags thought the lions wanted to do, but he went off the board to the chiefs just before the jags pick.

its another "what would make the lakers better" articles. you only consider that if you think knecht will be a star. pistons can find shooting on the market without having to deal stewart.

everyone assumes linear growth but that doesnt always happen. if they have a chance to get a "superstar" player next to cade they should take it. depends on who it is, of course...but if giannis comes free? you have to try to make it happen.

he's not a question mark, but he played like garbage in crunch time and needs to play better for them to win.

beasley was great this year. **** in the playoffs when teams play harder, but great in 82 games. but i'm not paying for past performance, i'm betting that his future performance wont be nearly as good. go out and find another cheap shooter (easier said than done, i know). but i think someone will grossly overpay beasley and i dont want it to be detroit.

brunson with 40 and 7 assists tonight. cade with 23 on 22 shots and 0-8 from 3. got to be better than that, kid.

king had 44 points and 12 boards in that game. isiah had 35 points and 12 assists. great back and forth.

why is there a full week between game one and game two?

cade has a LONG way to go before he's even in the same arena as isiah thomas. isiah and those pistons teams lost a hard fought seven games against one of the best teams of all time. the pistons just lost to a knicks team with one great player and a fat three point shooting center.

perfect pass to the best 3 point shooter (in the regular season) on the team for a wide open 3 or he takes a contested deep 3 with hart in his face. cade made the right play and it was a perfect pass. beasley jist dropped it because beasley sucks. get on cade for the two previous possessions when he 1) refused to shoot MULTIPLE wide open looks and then 2) drove to the jole and threw up a wild layup over robinson that hit nothing. that's when they lost the game. well....that and jb blowing a lead by taking ausar out.
