  1. Well Columbus sure dominated that period and the shots reflect it. Hopefully the Wings regroup and can put in a better effort in period 3 and win this thing.
  2. Boqvist picks up a rebound and it's all tied up in Columbus
  3. BJ's make it 2-1, missed the goal due to work.
  4. Greiss making some key saves to keep the Jackets off the board!
  5. DDK over the glass penalty oof, cmon PK
  6. Ras looked pretty relieved that went in, nice to see him get a good bounce. 2-0 good guys!
  7. I'm not a huge fan of Ozzie doing color myself Larkin makes it 1-0 as I type this and I miss it!
  8. I laughed pretty hard at Veleno running into Greiss after his hard backcheck, it looked like Greiss was thinking what the hell is this kid doing?! Good to see the kid hustle back after Seider made a bad play in the neutral zone.
  9. Apparently he looked really good: Detroit Red Wings 2021 first-round pick Simon Edvinsson is already playing to rave reviews at the U-20 Four Nations Tournament. He posted two assists in Sweden’s 5-0 opening win against the Czech Republic. A source, with ties to the Swedish team, told Detroit Hockey Now that Edvinssson “was a monster” in the game. “He looks better than Rasmus Dahlin did at the same age,” the source said. “He has the same offensive game and is much stronger.” Simon Edvinsson, 18, plays at high-caliber level for Frolunda in the Swedish League. He has one goal and eight assists for nine points in 16 games. He owns a +7 plus-minus. The 6-foot-4 defenseman suffered a minor injury, but it wasn’t serious enough to keep him out of the Four Nations Tournament. Edvinsson will play for Sweden’s U-20 at the World Junior Championships. Edvinsson is a full-service defenseman. He plays physical, is mindful of his defensive play and carries the puck with authority. “You have to go back to Victor Hedman to find a comparable Swedish D-man, aged 18,” the source said. “The Red Wings have a gem in Simon.”
  10. Hronek just basically took a slap shot into the crowd trying to clear the puck on a penalty kill. Hit a woman (seemed like pretty hard) and took a penalty, yikes.
  11. I promise they were playing well at the start haha
  12. Meanwhile Caps started a goalie in his first game, the disrespect!!
  13. Seems like it would make sense to have different qualifications for goalies but it also isn't something that bothers me, just funny that Ned could potentially win it two seasons in a row.
  14. He somehow is which I find hilarious. I feel like this happened a while ago with another goalie (Jim Carey maybe?) and it still seems odd to me.
  15. He doesn't always do the perfect thing but it seems like he learns what he can and can't do very quickly and works around that well.
  16. I didn't notice this while watching yesterday, but this kid is fun to watch out there haha
  17. Missed what happened with the goal against, hopefully they can lock this third period down
  18. I was pretty worried coming in but this has been great
  19. Adam Erne made quite a play on that goal, let's go!!
  20. 16 shots for the Wings...and no power plays! Love it.
  21. Seider's hand eye coordination is nuts
