A blow out is possible, but I'd be very surprised by a blow out in either direction. I think the polls can predict a blow out. That is why we are already sure of the outcome in most states.

Based on the polls, Harris has lost the momentum she had previously. I am also a little concerned that she is behind where Clinton and Biden were at this stage. Some here seem confident that Republicans underperforming the mid-terms will carry over to Trump, but I am not at all convinced.

So the Harris strategy should be to keep on talking about how dangerous and incompetent he is. He won't be able to resist saying something ridiculous in response.

I just saw the Harris interview on Fox. She handled it about as well as she could in a hostile format. She didn't say much about what she wanted to do policy wise, but she wasn't really given the opportunity to do so. Everything she has said about Trump has been spot on and I don't know why no other candidate has done that.

The Tigers have a small payroll and have shown that they can put together a strong pitching staff without spending a lot. So, it makes sense to spend some money on position players. It's not going kill them to take a chance on a guy in Bregman's class if the right match is available.

I think undecided might really mean: "undecided as to whether or not they are voting" which most likely includes more Harris voters than Trump voters.

yeah, WAR tries to measure player value as you describe, but I think catcher is still the most difficult position to measure. I am not sure you can measure how well a catcher works with his pitchers which may or may not be an important factor being missed. I believe this is what you are talking about in your last paragraph.
