  1. You got to be willing to spend energy on defense to play the PK. Not exactly something you could say was important for him for a long time.
  2. He’s got addiction issues. He just replaced alcohol with South Beach fashion.
  3. They wouldn’t have played him much and you wouldn’t be as impressed. Gotta get snaps for Zylstra.
  4. Stephen Ross on Mike McDaniel firing: Our organization is in need of comprehensive change “After careful evaluation and extensive discussions since the season ended, I have made the decision that our organization is in need of comprehensive change.” He’s so close to seeing the problem.
  5. I think the Giants are risky. Running QB one hit away from being Tua. RB that destroyed his ankle. WR coming off ACL, not a guarantee. Defense that can only do one thing and has a lot of resources in the front 7.
  6. Hearing that Campbell would retain play calling is super disappointing and helps explain why he’d lean that way over a real offensive coordinator. No way a real OC comes in and doesn’t call plays. It’ll be another year of overwhelmed coaching making suspect clock management and personnel decisions. This team works best when Campbell is leading the entire team and making executive level decisions.
  7. I think Atlanta. They are the closest to being respectable.
  8. No chance. That’s a dumpster fire that just proved it’ll fire a big name after one bad season. And that team has more bad seasons in the chamber.
  9. Raiders beat Chiefs 14-12 in the ugliest game of the season “The game had no touchdowns, eight field goals, four turnovers, a safety, nine sacks, 12 punts and a combined 372 yards. They were 0-for-4 in the red zone.”
  10. Falcons fire coach Raheem Morris, GM Terry Fontenot
  11. The clock management between 2:30 and the turnover was criminal.
  12. Cam Little made from 67. This guy has a huge leg.
  13. How much is it scheme and how much is pure talent? Odd that Johnson just happens to have great lines. Odd that he happens to find 2 good backs. Sounds like he’s either really lucky or really good at finding gold with IOL and RB. Or … he’s creative and has a knack for play design and sequencing. He's not infallible, look no further than the playoffs last year.
  14. The guy responsible for the historically good offense has propped up an average line and average running backs in Chicago. Trying to have halfwits in Detroit run someone else’s offense is turning out exactly as you’d expect. No one with any real talent is going to want to come in and try to run someone else’s offense. The best will have their own offense.
  15. I am choosing to believe that the Cowboys read the headline wrong and acted rashly. Cowboys waive Trevon Diggs
  16. Edvinsson taking that shot to the skate and not being able to get to his feet was very concerning.
  17. He’s going to be 29 and had offseason surgery 3 times in the last 5 years. I think he’s trending it in the wrong direction.
  18. I am completely surprised by this, but according to Gemini there have been 51 DTs drafted in the first round from 2000-2024 and 51 RBs from 2000-2023.
  19. He’s ended the last 2 seasons having surgery, knee this year and ankle last year. Surgery in 2020 for a torn labrum too. Will be 29 heading into next season.
  20. He’d fit the heath requirements.
  21. My personal objection was spending that capital then not putting him on the field to learn on the job, instead putting less talented players in his place.
  22. St Brown became a drop machine after that too. I'll chalk it up as karma. Overall this year they seem more focused on TD dances than they are with winning games.
  23. I guess we will just have to see.
  24. Whoa! I think that’s discounting Montgomery’s talent. He’s not as replaceable as stated here.
