    Gutty win. Bullpen gets the gold star today. They kept the offense alive; And the Seattle guy imploded to allow us to go ahead.

    I think the hitting will be ok. I'm much more worried about the depth of their rotation...either with injuries or performance.

    They have 3 off days in the next 10 days. They probably only need 4 starters for a bit.

    Also when your starters can’t routinely pitch past the 5th inning, sometimes this happens. The Tigers team defense has been very good overall and bad today unfortunately.

    Turnbull is 30 years old. If he is around after 2024 it’s probably a positive outcome. I’m taking more of a micro approach. The tigers rotation will offer plenty of chances for redemption in the next few months.

    Tigers have improved their team defensively. McKinstry, Vierling, Rogers, Maton are part of it. Baez not throwing the ball in the first row...and Torkelson scooping the ball well.

    I hope Max has something left. But he does turn 39 in late July and is owed another $40+ mill next year. But Cohen will just eat it and spend more....must be nice.

    Offense is exciting when you hit home runs....trust me on that.

    Bad design is needing Greene and Tork to be all stars immediately to save your job. They might have saved Al if they were average players last year. Bad luck is Skubal and Mize getting hurt and Greene/Tork being below replacment level hitters.
