I would re sign Kane...if they don't they have to find two top six forwards. I would love to sign Tavares...Make him the 1C and let Larkin play wing or bounce the two of them around like they did with the Euro twins back when they were really good. Although Lombardi might be good enough to force the issue a bit. I'd love to see Mazur and Danielson force their way onto the roster next year on the bottom six with Copp, Ras (who I would be open to including in a trade for a LHD) and Compher.

No one is good enough to lead a team into the playoffs on their own. Add a scoring LW with some edge to play alongside Larkin and Raymond and a legit top 4 LHD with some physicality and this is a playoff team

Other than bringing Kane back...every offseason move SY made came up short. Compare that to Trajan Langdon and the Pistons. He brought in Beasley, Hardaway jr and Tobias Harris and all three of them contributed mightily to the team's record improvement. Huge offseason for SY...he needs to make some moves that are more than just stop gaps

Thought they might backslide a bit this year...and they did. Only real bright spots were the emergence of Kapser, Johansson and Edvinsson (lead the team in +/-). They desperately need a top LW to pair with Larkin and Raymond. Improving the D would be nice...but I don't know that they can with the current number of guys under contract

Doubt we can afford to add Forsberg. O'Reilly would be cheaper low hanging fruit in terms of $$$ and the assets needed to get him

Nashville is interesting...they could be looking at a full on rebuild. A guy like Ryan O'Reilley might be worth inquiring about as a top six F with some size and scoring. Two years left with a 4.5 mil cap hit

no...1C's don't hit the market very often..but that doesn't make Larkin any more attractive.

That and Larkin and Raymond coming back from Four Nations a step slower. We may need to look elsewhere for a 1C. Larkin has the talent..but he lacks the durability you want from the guy ostensibly pulling the wagon

They both contributed a lot tonight...I think physically Stew was a better match up on KAT in the paint...and I think he got in his head by bodying him one on one.

He's definitely missing that high gear...Raymond appears a step behind also.
