  1. IIRC...Lau taught hitters to use more of a golf swing approach...whatever that mezns
  2. 77 also hit what looked a little like a Jake Roberts DDT during that scrum in the 3rd period
  3. If we compete well and lose a close one...I won't shed any tears
  4. Simon and Mo...quite possibly the league's best pairing.
  5. In the playdowns last fall Baez seemed like our most dangerous hitter
  6. Grew up accross from a park with a big pond that we played pond hockey on in the winter. I painted number 20 on the outer heel of my skates to emulate Mickey
  7. And then you can roll Kane, Cat and Simon..or ASP
  8. Williams played well against the run for the most part...I don't think drafting him was a mistake, assuming they did so to have a replacement for Reader. Failing to replace Ragnow and Zeitler with quality vets was an issue on the OL
  9. I don't get people calling the 2025 draft a failure. Williams and Ratledge started and at times played very well, TeSlaa made some spectacular, clutch catches and looks like a major threat in the red zone going forward. Frazier was hurt, but showed some promise in limited activity. Hassanein and Jackson got hurt in camp and Lovett at least saw the field. 2024...OTOH...
  10. True..I think Anzalone took a step back this year..he may want a change of scenery
  11. OT and DE at the top of the draft. S and TE after that
  12. This team was just....off...the entire season. Next year? OL is in tatters..secondary has major injury questions at safety and CB. Our TE has a serious back injury. DL has major questions at DT ( is Alim still Alim?) and edge. Next year could be a bounce back or another exercise in mediocrity
  13. I was worried that JVR was goingvto be Tarasenko 2.0. He's been much better than that. Nice play by Ras to set him up. Used that size and strength well for a change
  14. No..on the TD to St Brown. Teslaa ran a slant ..2 Steelers got tangled with him
  15. Us Yellowbeards are most dangerous when we're dead
  16. My problem with Waldon is her lack of objectivity...comes off as more of a fan than an observer. I also question her status as a minor league baseball writer when she offers little in the way of analysis of player development. Seems like a pleasant enough person though
  17. I could see Minnesota being highly motivated against GB to set a tone for next year...of course the saame thing could be said about our game with them on Christmas
  18. Maybe our lotto luck was getting Mo instead of Jack "cant play a full year" Hughes
  19. Will McGonigle, Clark and Briceno be the new age Lou, Tram and Parrish? Can Rodriguez become another Gibby? Gonna be fun to see
  20. They can move to Skokie and court the Nazi's
  21. ASP flashed offensive instincts on that goal that we haven't seen from a defenseman here in a bit. SY needs to make a deal for a solid 2nd pairing LHD as we do not have one anywhere in the system so far as i can tell.
  22. Risky... but..yes..I might do 8, especially if the trade offers are bad
