A guy like Sharpe gives you a lot of flexibility...he can play guard alongside Cade or if you want to go smaller, he can move up to the wing with Bey playing the PF and Hayes playing alongside Cade.
Be interesting to see what the effort level looks like against NY...been more than a couple of games of late where the team looked totally unwilling to put forth the effort
None of it's against college athletes...but Shaedon Sharpe's vids are awfully impressive. Has a nice stroke and a ton of athleticism. If we can snag another pick fom Portland for Grant...he'd be a nice addition. Assuming he enters the draft
The debate over Hamilton reminds me a bit of the debate over Kyle Pitts. It's hard to argue positional value when the guy you're evaluating isn't locked into a traditional position
Perhaps there isn't a QB worth #2...but there are 2 LT that are and there's a number of teams immediately below us who need one. That could create a market for our pick. That would allow us to snag a DB like Hamilton or Gardner and have a bonus 2nd or 3rd rd pick we could use to take a flier on Ojabo. I don't think he gets to 97 because while an Achilles rupture is still a serious injury...it isnt the career killer it was even 10 years ago
The irony of taking Willis at #2 and passing on an edge is that passing on an edge may be a factor in making us bad enough to draft high enough to land a franchise QB next year...
Starting to see mocks with Georgia's Trayvon Walker leapfrogging Thibodeaux as the 2nd edge off the board...is Thibs freaking people out that badly...or did Walker just test REALLY well. Malik Willis at #2 smacks of the FOMO effect Leaf has talked about. I hope it's a smoke screen to spur interest in a trade down
Can you imagine the embarrassment if they measured...everything. Pickett has the smallest wang of any QB at the combine...ever. That kind of talk could ruin a man's life
Back when Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips was a thing they had a fried chicken sandwich with Russian dressing that was so good. Today...I'm ashamed to admit I enjoyed it
