I frankly don't care about the sanctity of the court or the politics right now. I care about the women and their families that will be hurt by this. Young girls, victims of rape, and middle aged mothers with high school kids facing a health crisis with an unplanned and shocking pregnancy at age 45 will end up dying. All because of 5 justices who think our country should be a theocracy.

There was no real flu season from 2020-2021 because of quarantines, masking, and social distancing, so there was nothing to build off when coming up with the vaccine for 2021-2022. It's always a guess based on what we see evolve from the warmer climates as they transition to cooler climates and the flu makes its way north during the summer/fall but even more so this time. Also an increase in vax skepticism so many didn't get their shot for reasons.

Wife’s hospital has had more flu than COVID patients for a good while. Pediatrician friend says she’s seeing a lot of flu. Sons GF has it. Wife’s work partner’s two kids had it.

First time I took my family to chicago we stayed at the best western river north. Had free parking. That was the deciding factor. Back then it seemed so far away but when we were there in January we walked by and thought “it’s right here!” I guess with small kids and bags and all that everything is an ordeal and seems far away.

My son has had the same friends since 1st grade. They are all 21. Two white kids, a black kid, one who is half Mexican/half Lebanese. those 4 have been together for 15 years. Their group also includes a couple of middle eastern kids but I don't know what country.

I'm worried about the invasion that's already occurred by people who want to turn the country back 200 years to the "good old days" when blacks and women knew their place.
