Elvis Alvarado was promoted from West Michigan to Erie. This is a bit overdue. As a refresher, he's a converted outfielder, now a reliever who has some heat. The Tigers popped him in the Rule 5 draft this year. I believe he is free agent eligible after the year, so as he has been pitching very well in Lakeland and West Michigan, it makes sense to see if he can stick in Erie.

BA's transaction log has Michael Mariot and Jake Robson released. I haven't seen anything on the MILB pages, but they haven't appeared in a game in a while.
