  1. I didn't realize that... This is also the fifth year of the current alignment, and Toledo has yet to visit leaguemate Jacksonville in that time.
  2. I think about that a lot too, but I come at it from the other angle. A lot of people drowning in student loan debt spending 5-10K a year on vacations seems like a bad move, especially in the context of the debt forgiveness. I've never been big on vacations. They are a luxury. I never really got to go on many as a kid: dad worked long hours in the summer and we didn't have much money. As a result, I've never really been big on them as an adult.
  3. Spitting on that thang is a pretty good description of what they've spent the last 10 weeks doing.
  4. I noticed Guenther and Manning are not on the released Toledo roster. A few others who would procedurally need to be on their IL (like Baddoo, Vanasco, and Flores as well). I'm guessing they did not announce the players on the 15-Day IL, which leads me to believe Guenther and Manning are either injured or on the development list getting some work done in Lakeland.
  5. Guys like him don't have much value. Possible the injuries he had most of last year have just sapped his skills.
  6. Had a feeling that might happen when he didn't get called back to any big league games the rest of spring (and they signed Jack Dunn). I wonder if his new deal had an opt out.
  7. Romad and Micro may be the only ones that get this one, but it is pure gold.
  8. I forget who asked when we get the rosters... usually opening day or the day before. We should get Toledo's today. 28 players, usually 13 position players and 15 pitchers.
  9. I think I've used all of those guys in Immaculate Grid in the last two weeks.
  10. I just saw an ad for FL-6... Fine saying he's a Trump republican, yada yada yada.

  12. Hah! I remember a group text somebody asked me if their friend Ben was any good and locked it away. Searching his BR page, he was drafted out of high school, and with all the sports leagues I play I know a bunch of ppl from that high school his age.
  13. Gamel is the first Tiger I definitely have overlapping social circles with.
  14. Makes federal employees' lives a bit more miserable. Checkerino.
  15. What do you mean "doesn't have a contract?" He has one...
  16. Cobb is throwing; Madden isn't. Madden is by far the furthest away from returning; he's the next 60-Day guy. None of the others are guaranteed to be out til May 26.

  19. This is the snippet in the CBA that applies to Chafin. Tomorrow is the Fourth Day Prior. He would have requested his release yesterday.
  20. Should have a resolution on Chafin by tomorrow, per the CBA.
