Even a suggestion of that sends a horrible message to the fans (35,000 in attendance) who paid a lot of money to go to that game to see their team win. It's like...we don't care if we lose, as long as we find a pitcher who performs well against a last place team. Yeah, throw that same pitcher in New York next week against the Yankees and see what happens. It won't be pretty. But hey...our manager doesn't care if a AAA pitcher loses that game, right? I guess I don't see the logic in using Bailey Horn (who???) and Keider Montero in a game when there's a tight race to get a first round bye. It would be a shame if we end up tied with Toronto or a game back of Houston.
