  1. Can't decide, SAS in 7 or Knicks in 6?
  2. I'll be watching Wemby vs the Knicks
  3. Under appreciated Tiger. Soiled by the memory of frigging Big Papi.
  4. That my friend is a long neck (I typed that in my Jackie Gleason voice)
  5. Wemby is must see tv. OKC is a yawn fest. Looking forward to an enjoyable Finals
  6. I remember a game where power hitting shortstop Eddie Brinkman hit 2 home runs. I was about 9 and had to sprint around my block I was so happy
  7. Perhaps Torres comes in hot and fetches a mid tier prospect. I still cannot believe that this is my mindset with the Tigers on June 2
  8. Imagine this - OKC trades Holmgren and a couple 1st rd picks for Giannis. Would make things interesting and get Chet away from Wemby, who is all up in Chet's head
  9. True, but even the Braves don't make the playoffs in years they are decimated by injuries. This is partly due to injuries
  10. So they need to go 64-38 here on out to get to 85 wins and maybe have a shot at the post season.
  11. I watched those aau games. Wemby dominated then, too. Chet went to high school 2 blocks from my house.
  12. If they (Wemby) can stay healthy, I can see a Bulls-like run coming for SAS. Never been a ceiling like what is there for Wemby
  13. Half game up on the Rockies for worst in mlb. Next up, at Tampa where the Rays are 20-6. Good times ahead....
  14. 12 games out prior to June 1. Nobody on the planet foresaw this
  15. Has Harris ever been extended? Is this his final year under contract?
  16. 13 blown saves so far. Team record for a season is 34. They're on pace......gives me something to follow
  17. Harris' teams as assistant gm in SF had a similar path. Sort of a straw man 107 win season, followed by 81 and 78. If they lose Skubal and Mize and go into rebuild I may pick up a habit like cocaine
  18. I'm beyond frustrated and almost fully apathetic. But the injuries matter. As talented as Atlanta has been, they've missed the playoffs due to injuries. They're healthy now and maybe the best team in baseball. If reasonable healthy this is probably an 84 win team. It is snake bitten. The baseball gods are evening things out because they over performed the last 2 years
  19. I don't recall ever seeing so many hr walk-offs in such a short period of time. Ever
  20. You have to consider Misioroski and Skubal in the post season. I would really like their chances, if both are healthy.
  21. A true elite rim protector, like Gobert is valuable. That's not a strength for Duren, which is my concern there. Mara has a 9'9" standing reach and is considered good at the D rim
  22. Been a minute, but the CC Sabathia trade comes to mind
  23. I'm on the verge of being past frustration and into apathy at this point. The grit is gone. I'd rather watch old Sonny and Cher Show reruns
