  1. He needs 5 more to tie Walter Johnson at 3508. He is hoping to pitch next year.
  2. In no way do I believe Harris made a low-ball offer 2 years prior to free agency, to appease the fans. Whatever the offer was, I don't believe it was made to make him look good to fans. That's not Harris' style
  3. I wouldn't see Harris doing that. I think he might get traded in the off-season. There should be huge offers.
  4. Was just gonna post the same. Can't listen to him
  5. Where was it disclosed? I never saw it
  6. They offered Skubal a low-ball offer? I hadn't heard that
  7. Maybe a vacuum with Ted Williams' frozen head attached?
  8. I think Harris sticks to his plan. I doubt he would make a low-ball offer to appease fans. I do expect Harris and Greenberg to come up with a legit offer within their plan and either make that offer or trade Skubal.
  9. I would think Malloy gets the call. He's been playing well
  10. Detroit's pitching has been bottom quadrant in mlb for the past 2 months. Trying to patch the holes with dfa reclamation projects isn't working
  11. I agree, but the Yankees are currently the last wc team and they are 4.5 behind Detroit. The Red Sox and Mariners are both 2 games behind Detroit. 44 games remain. I expect Detroit to right the ship, but at this point I will not be surprised if they fall out of the playoffs
  12. If the current collapse continues and they miss the playoffs, I think the odds Scoobs gets dealt this winter go up significantly
  13. Knuckleballer Kenny Serwa update: Other than too many bb, he's looked good at AA. Kenny Serwa Stats, Age, Position, Height, Weight, Fantasy & News | MiLB.com https://share.google/ZXodLTSdZStgmcfr2
  14. Perhaps Lady Gaga will write a song about the collapse of the Tigers' division lead. She can sing it in her meat dress.
  15. I agree, that may be the greatest single season ever for a pitcher. But it's also important to factor in the higher-mound era as a context. Juan Marichal actually had 2 more complete games that year (30). He averaged 8.6 innings per start, while Gibson averaged nearly 9. But again, I do agree. And of course, Koufax had an amazing run just prior to 1968 I believe Pedro Martinez had even better seasons during his amazing 5-year run. Pedro's era was more than a full run less than any other pitcher in baseball.
  16. I use youtube, mostly for music and sports, and Facebook to keep in touch with old friends. I am also on linkedin, but none of the other apps like Instagram, x or tiktok.
  17. Errol Mann will hit a last second FG
  18. Kershaw vs Scherzer. Both drafted in '06, first faced one another in '08. Likely last time today. Watching it right now
  19. I wish Dickerson was full time tv. Great to see Matt V take em home tonight. I'll never forget last season in their run, when Vierling scored and popped up waving his fist. They need his energy right now. Excellent win!
  20. The Brewers just had their best 60 game stretch in franchise history, 44-16 MLB-leading Brewers cap best 60-game stretch in club history https://share.google/PDtcuNXTEg4aNRw9n
  21. Wonder why the Yankees haven't promoted Spencer Jones to the big club yet? Dude is crushing in aaa Spencer Jones College, Amateur & Minor Leagues Statistics | Baseball-Reference.com https://share.google/0ug3XcFC8QP9Hhfle
  22. Greene is going to get hot again. He's been incredibly hot and cold all year. That will help. Now the bulllpen, that's another story. Maybe pitching chaos over time takes a toll? I miss senior smoke and Guillermo.
  23. Blue Jays just pounded out 63 hits in their 3 game series with the Rockies. That's the most hits in a 3 game series since 1900. Yowza!
