  1. Love the post! but as I read it a second time, in the dark web of my mind I heard Charlton Heston screaming something about soylent Green and now I have diarrhea
  2. Some pitching ninja love for Wayne State https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1CcE7tEr7f/
  3. You have to scroll in several minutes, but here is some Skubal info directly from Onley yesterday. Executives are telling him they expect Skubal to be traded and the haul will be huge
  4. A team can go 20 years or more without a player of Skubal's talent. The Tigers are fortunate to have him on the heels of JV and Max. If a package doesn't include a McLean or a Schlittler type mlb ready guy, plus prospects I will be very disappointed. Even with McLean and Schlittler there is still plenty of uncertainty. I know Scoobs can also get hurt. The fact that it is out that Detroit is listening deserves bad haiku: Scoobs is like Elvis Handing fans pink Cadillac Don't die on the loo
  5. Huge news, the Tigers sign SP Drew Anderson to a 1 yr deal with a 2nd club option. Had a good year in Korea last year. 31 yo. I do not recall him in mlb. Tigers To Sign Drew Anderson - MLB Trade Rumors https://share.google/27rb6OM42173zF5he
  6. That's a good point. And also all the more to appreciate Wockenfuss
  7. Yep. That shuts down there comfortable flow.
  8. Ugliest game of the year. Worse than Cleveland game. Jenkins coming back to earth a bit. Last 2 games he is 5-24 from the floor, 1-13 from 3. Cade has 18 and 17 points in those games. They haven't had their flow these games - I do think they miss Duncan.
  9. BA with some thoughts on Det farm https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/2026-detroit-tigers-top-mlb-prospects/
  10. Tiger Territory today mentioned Valdez, suggesting he'd require ~ 5/140. They said that's not Harris' way, but having him and Skubal at the top of the rotation would be formidable and would show Skubal that they mean business. Harris usually requires some significant injury history before his interest gets peaked. So I don't expect Valdez to be a Tiger.
  11. I appreciated the one and only John Bilton Wockenfuss, Johnny B (RIP). He was with the Tigers through most of their lean years, post Kaline, Cash, and others, then he got traded after 1983 and missed out on the championship.
  12. Tigers interest in King being reported. Risky, but I'd like to see it
  13. Ponce to Toronto on 3/30 deal. The Jays are all in.
  14. I'd rather be a cassowary than a shoebill stork
  15. I like Bichette, but I do not see Toronto letting him walk.
  16. So great to see. Don't see him climbing above those 4 this year, but getting closer
  17. Hearing Spoelstra's post game interview, it's clear what he thinks about the Pistons. He said the Heat have been playing well, but last night was the first time this year they faced a team on a higher level. He praises Detroit's defense, how they cut off the passing lanes and are "relentless." He said the Heat will grow from the experience, to see what that next level looks like. It's still a bit surreal to hear that, after several years of bottom of the league Pistons ball.
  18. Imho Torres is an asset. Same with Flaherty. After 2026 Detroit has Javy and Colt on the books, and more 1 yr deals with the youngsters. Harris can be creative with the flexibility.
  19. Thankful for Jenkins. Cade looked spent that last quarter
  20. I hope Harris doesn't wait too long to lock up Finnegan
  21. Looks like Helsley deal is 2/28. Harris probably offered 1/12 and free soda for a year
  22. He's a ****, but the woman who accused him is now behind bars. There was a lot of evidence that showed she made it up. I saw the documentary. She planned the whole thing, evidenced in texts to a friend. She videoed herself the morning after the alleged incident, smiling with no bruises. She later admitted bruising herself and that she made it up. I can't stand the guy, but you should check out the available info before calling him out as a perp.
  23. Just read that some of Cease's salary is deferred and it's actually calculated as 7/182, 26 million aav.
