The Atlanta Hawks have a Trae Young problem; Quin Snyder is there to fix it, one way, or the other

Quote

By that reasoning, the Hawks' 119-116 loss Tuesday night was somewhat irrelevant. Snyder was there, rapidly transitioning from vacationing as an unemployed basketball coach to the leader of an NBA team he'd had nothing to do just with a few days earlier, because the most important realities right now with the Atlanta Hawks are happening off the court.

That fact can be broken into two parts -- one playing out in a divided locker room, the other in a Game-of-Thrones-like front office.

Or so the thinking goes.

Starting with the locker room, it's no secret there's a serious disconnect between Young, the team's star player, and many -- though some say nearly all -- of his teammates. He is not beloved, sources say, and there's a strong view that Young fails to lead, to understand or care to understand what is required of him, and that as a result the team will never achieve what it should until that reality is fixed.

Not to throw gunpowder onto the grill...

But if we drafted Scoot...

Wouldn't we run into the same situation?

How many balls would Cade-Scoot-Ivey need?

Does Ivey or Cade get pushed to the bench? Killian should stay there and he could direct the bench with 1 ball = happy camper...

But what if our best starting alignment is Scoot/PG-Ivey/SG-Cade/SF?

Just asking for a friend...

I saw a few different tweets that said the league is doing an investigation about the Ja incident and he could potentially get suspended for 50 games cause the fact he showed the gun in Denver means that he almost assuredly carried it with him on the team plane which is of course a major league violation.

Colorado police investigating Ja Morant after IG Live video

Quote

Police in Colorado said Monday they are investigating Ja Morant's actions from the weekend after the Memphis Grizzlies star posted an Instagram Live video in which he displayed what appeared to be a gun while at a nightclub.

The Glendale Police Department confirmed the incident took place at a bar in Glendale, a small enclave surrounded by Denver known for its strip clubs and shopping centers. The department said it is investigating whether Morant might have broken any gun laws.
