Barrett's recusal made all the difference. But another state will likely engineer a similar case in which Barrett does not have to recuse. So this story isn't over. I kind of think a blue state should rush to create the next test case by establishing a charter madrasa to remind the conservative justices that it isn't just Catholics who would benefit from state-funded religious schools ...
