I did the free trial back in June or whenever it was, the first time the Tigers were on it, then I forgot to cancel before a rebill... just checked, I'm good until Sept 30.

I've heard great things about their shows.... but there's just too much TV to watch.  I can't keep up.

I keep a list on a spreadsheet of all my auto-billings like car insurance, online newspapers, Netflix, Spotify, etc. I make sure to check it with my bank statements every few months because damn, invariably I discover a forgotten “free trial” I forgot to cancel and for which I’ve been getting billed $12.99/mth for two months for something I don’t need.

I binged a show from there called Dark Matter. It started out pretty good and it was a good story line but it kinda dragged on...

The Beastie Boys Story is a must watch on Apple TV.   Severance and Ted Lasso are great as well.

I don’t know how this is accomplished, but I hope Hinch as a stable anchor can keep the young players, especially, focused on the bubble of this mutual momentum they appear to inhabit.

It only exists game-by-game, and must be renewed daily through a single-pointed focus on the goal of the day. They have to keep their heads firmly entrenched in each single game and avoid distractions about the future.

When Hinch says they purposely avoid getting caught up in the future, this is exactly what he’s talking about. We have the luxury of pondering these imponderables, but they don’t.

There’s times on the field, where you sense them coalescing into something greater than the sum of their singular identities, as if they were surfing on the same great wave. It’s really something to behold.

The last couple episodes of that show made my brain melt. I literally said to myself "wait, WTF is happening right now?!?!?". LOL!

Yeah, it kinda didn't make a ton of sense. Great story idea but it shoulda just been a 90 minute movie.

Growing pains maybe. A lot of them had zero MLB experience.

Yeah, Keith maybe. But Tork, Greene, Carpenter, Meadows, Javy and Rogers all had experience and most of them found their groove after a sliw start. Except for Javy. And Rogers. Their slow offense makes their hitting now very exciting. But it's their pitching that is hard to believe. A bunch of no name relievers pitching lights out. Jeez...we're gonna win the division next season. 😆

By the way, for you with access to Apple TV, the pregame begins at 6:30 PM Eastern.

As for what Apple TV provides otherwise, the two seasons of FOUNDATION are great, although the suits at Apple pretty much destroyed chances of the series going ahead. Since that’s gone if it weren’t for the fact, my son pays for it. I probably would’ve stopped subscribing by now.

I watched Monarch: Legacy of Monsters which was Godzilla series and pretty good. Started watching Sunny and the series seemed to go nowhere halfway through.

Everybody I know raves about Severance and Slow Horses but the older I’ve got the less likely I am to spend time being a mere spectator —  I reserve that for the Tigers — so I’m slow to pick up a new series.
