Both are not likely to return. They'll never say never with NFL athletes, but I will... Davenport (torn triceps) definitely not. Barnes (torn MCL and PCL) would take something of a miracle. He (Barnes) has ditched crutches and is with the team rehabbing as of last week, but reading between the lines he's actually behind Hutchinson in terms of rehab.

I think Hutch returns for the Super Bowl - maybe even the NFC Championship Game - before either of these guys return.

To add a name though, John Cominsky tore his MCL in July, way before it was cool for our defensive linemen to suffer season ending injuries. It sounds as if he is still in line to return for the playoffs, if not a little bit sooner.

Campbell was caught off guard today with a question about his dogs in his presser. But honestly gave a really sweet response. I think I queued it right, but start at about 1:14 if not. Love having this dude as our coach.

Anyone attended games via SRO? My buddy and I bought tickets for the packers game in section 238.  I want my brother and other buddy to come but they can’t afford anything.  The SRO is going for $277 before fees. I was thinking of buying my brother and other buddy SRO tickets, but I don’t know anything about that section. Will they be fighting to see the field?

No experience with SRO... but I just had to react... $277 for standing room only‽‽ Holy ****!

I'm over on the west side of the state so it's not easy to get to games between the hours of travel the extra expense of fuel, parking, etc., combined with back issues I've had to many years I've never looked too close at getting tickets so I had NO idea they were so expensive!

(For the record I've attended one regular season game and I also went for one pre-season game for the Lions. Plus I've been to one Panthers game at Ford.)

On a side note about that Campbell HS pic,I'm hoping they had risers for the team pics, if not and they were all on the same level surface that coach behind Dan must be Shaq's size since I'm sure Dan was a tall kid and he towers over him.

I just read that 27 of the 29 players that Holmes has drafted are still with the team either on the roster, practice squad or injured reserved.

I think one of the 2 is CHase Lucas who according to wikipedia is on the San Fran practice squad, trying to figure out who the other one is.

From what I can gather from a quick google search Green is on IR.

He was waived with an injury designation so he's not technically on a team. I suspect if he is healthy next year, the Lions would invite him to training camp.

Holmes also picked up UDFAs Brock Wright, Craig Reynolds and Jerry Jacobs. The first 2 are still on the team and dressing every week and Jacobs while not being that good did play for 3 years and produce 4 INTs which for an UDFA is a major win.

So it appears since Green was a non vested rookie, he had to clear waivers to revert to the IR so it would appear he has not been released.

Looking at the rest of the schedule and this could possibly be our last 1PM game of the season. Currently the only other scheduled one is in week 16 against the Bears but if the Bears get their **** together and get back in the playoff race that could possibly get flexed.

The current SNF game that week is TB/Dallas and while it would be hard for the NFL to downgrade a Dallas game with how they are playing they may actually do it. Philly/Washington is also that week so I'd imagine they'd be pick first if it does happen but there's still an outside chance it could be the Lions game IF the Bears do actually get things going.

Brock Wright from TE U Notre Dame. As a UDFA has had a better career than former college teammate 35th overall pick Michael Mayer.
