I called John James office. I asked how he was going to vote on the bill. He said he couldn't say but James has made a commitment to not cut Medicaid. I'm like so he will vote no, he's not a liar is he? Then the guy said I can't answer that. It threw me for a loop. I'm like, you cannot tell me if John James is a liar or not? He's like I cannot legally say. I was still floored, I'm like, you cannot comment on the integrity of the congressman? He repeats he cannot do so legally. I ask when he was going to have a townhall and appear in the district, he said he cannot say. I was going to ask how he expects to be elected governor if he refuses to talk to his constituents and cuts Medicaid but bro hung up on me. I sent a follow up email asking for the specific law that says he cannot legally tell me if John James is a liar or not.

I wonder who in the WH is attributed to the idea to bring in the Afrikaners.  That one has to be pinned on their foreheads in the mid-terms.  I think the latent racism out there among the proles is a potent weapon that clearly propelled the Trump elections but people don't want to be known as racists.

I think the Republicans see it more of an opportunity to get media to focus on the supposed threat, rather than talk about their cuts to Medicaid, or Trump's corruption - it gets them off the front page

I feel similarly to the guy in the green tee shirt.  I am concerned that we are becoming an authoritarian state and this is not something I have ever been worried about before.  Like him, I am not convinced that it is inevitable, but I am concerned with the lack of concern I am seeing from media, so called govt leaders ,etc.

Truth.

I made the mistake to respond to a old high school buddy who posted something about Comey and is 'OUTRAGED' over it.  I pointed out that I recently told my daughter to 86 the bananas we had as they were going bad.  She simply grabbed them and put them in the trash, she did not pull out a gun and shoot them.  I pointed out that as a Dad, if I still had young kids, I'd feel better explaining a 8647 sticker on a car then a '#$%$ Joe Biden' sticker.  I also stated OP sounded like a liberal snowflake to complain about it.

My post was removed, but not before some other buddy of his pointed out how insane my 'analysis' is and how could I defend Comey.   Almost responded with '#$%$ your feelings', but decided I shouldn't be on facebook with that crap anyway.
