Oh, and one last thing: This president has, for years, openly thirsted for the opportunity to have his military visit violence on American citizens.

So what happens in Trump gets the Kent State he has always wanted?

Being honest, this whole Padilla incident is a bit ridiculous.  Dude showed up to a press conference and started shouting and screaming to disrupt it.  Of course he's going to be removed.  Noem is a despicable piece of trash but it's not like she spotted Padilla sitting there peacefully and ordered him taken out back and executed.

He was asking a question, which is perfectly within his purview as a United States senator doing oversight.

He walked into an ongoing press conference and started shouting questions.  You know damn well that's not how it's done, regardless of who you are.    Had this been Padilla holding a press conference and Noem walked in and started shouting questions, you'd be here defending her getting tossed and you know it.  

This silly ass hypocrisy in politics is half the problem.

Your hypothetical doesn’t even make sense. Noem is not a sitting senator and Padilla is not with the DHS, so get out of here with the both sides ****. I wouldn’t want any US senator to be thrown to the ground and cuffed in this situation.  
 

The DHS said they reacted this way because they didn’t know who he was, which is a total lie. He outted who he was over and over, and Noem knows who he is very well. He’s the top Democrat on the judiciary subcommittee for immigration. None of this passes the smell test.

My hypothetical makes perfect sense, please stop.  The entire thing is nonsense, find something actually worth being outraged about.   Also, this wasn't DHS, it was FBI and Secret Service.

This is absurd. Just a few years ago Beto O'Rourke hijacked a press conference after that horrible shooting and they just booed him. This is beyond the pail, and folks that think this is normal and OK are FULLY the problem.

It is absolutely correct, don't call me a liar.  Beto didn't resist the officers and didn't start pushing and shoving, trying to remain in the room.   The fact that he got an extra 30 seconds before leaving doesn't mean Padilla is in the right for resisting efforts to escort him out of the room.

It’s almost as if the officer in Texas did not escalate the situation immediately. It honestly blows my mind you can watch those two videos and say the officers did the same thing
