Same. And would these countries actually let us in?

After all, the melting pot means we were kicked out of every respectable country in the world.

People I know who’ve been to Ireland this year say the Irish are thrilled to see Americans visiting. For one thing, the locals know the visitors are The Good Ones, and for another, they like hearing people slagging Trump in an American accent.

Splintering is fine, but that’s one thing. l’ll start cheering when they start peeling off at election time.

On the one hand, I'll be glad if they make different choices come Election Day. On the other hand... many of them are people who were and most likely still are happy to see the 'others' get hurt. In other words, I'd still be sleeping with one eye open around them.

Also.... did Hitler sell Dachau merchandise? It's more than a little disturbing to see all of the Alligator Alcatraz shirts, stickers, etc. for sale. And I'm surprised that Drumpf hasn't figured out how to profit from people taking selfies of themselves by Dachau 2.

I hope the Dems don't screw this up and decide to move on to more important things than Epstein.

Millions of Americans don't care about the government at all, but are deep into conspiracy theories and the performative nonsense of "just asking questions"

With his panicked denials, Trump has already revealed that he is all over the Epstein files.

Dems need to sell this crap to the morons who want it. There is no downside. Maybe they don't get a lot of votes from this, but they can dampen MAGA's turnout.

Near Chamberlain, SD. The statue is named Dignity.

Maybe someone should remind the Head of Homeland Security and former dog killing governor of this state.

edit. One of the statue’s most striking features is her outstretched star quilt — a symbol of respect, honor and admiration in Native American culture.

Maybe someone should remind her that Dignity should apply to all peoples

Of course they bury this way down in the article.

She told the newspaper it appears he was detained due to conflicting information on a visa his mother had used for him as a child.

This is no excuse for what he had to endure.

What did he endure that's any different from anyone who is sent to jail?  A mistake was made and he was eventually released.  The justice system isn't perfect and people are sometimes arrested, charged, convicted and even sentenced in error.

Yeah, Trump 1.0 was terrible too.

Read the article I posted, it gives a lot more detail on how this happened and specifically answers the questions you asked.

Yeah, the article made it worse. He was born in the US and had a birth certificate and yet he was still detained for 26 days and not given the same rights as people who were arrested. It still doesn't explain why this kid was such a high priority.
