How much coke have they swept under the carpets in the last 8 months in the White House? Probably the reason they had to destroy the East Wing

All this could be avoided if they would pass the CR that has been blocked 14 times….

This is interesting analysis. Did you get this from your African American neighbor or straight from Twitter?

Good lord

He knows we did, but he is gaslighting the red hats into believing we didn't, and they will believe it because he's told them to.

Better than living next to an overt Trumper who litters his/her yard with signs

So what's more likely now? Is a red hat going to move out because someone speaking a different language moved in next door? Or is the red hat going to use his second amendment rights to persuade the someone speaking a different language to move out?

Too bad that he doesn’t have a really good chili recipe to share.

I won’t argue that extra venison is a powerful tool.  It can make people compliment just about anything.

Any time Republicans want to utilize the option to break a filibuster proof majority they can do so. Any time they want to extend the ACA subsidies, they can vote to do so, and get Democrat votes to open the government.

Again, as has been discussed her previously. The President of the United States, the one you voted for, said it is the responsibility of the President when a shutdown occurs. The blame falls on them. Trump is President, Republicans control every branch of government. They can use the nuclear option, remove the filibuster, and vote to open the government without a single Democratic vote.

Considering the dozens and dozens of times the Trump Administration and Congressional Republicans have tried to end the ACA or repeal significant portions of it, I can't blame Democrats for finally showing some stones and standing up for something. They know damn well that the Republicans in Congress and Trump won't negotiate in good faith and may well not continue the ACA subsidies.

In 2021 Republicans said since Democrats controlled the government they could pass a budget without Republicans. Now the Republicans who control the government are completely helpless.
