But as someone who came of age during Iraq, platitudes like "Freedom is Never Free" to in response to deaths in combat is very similar.

And it's chilling to see that the architects of this conflict, one that they didn't even bother to justify to the American public beforehand, are running these platitudes back.

Would somebody on the right please call horse**** on the idea that this had anything to do with freedom for Americans? Or have we really abdicated all critical thinking in the service of fealty to our Weird Leader?

Really the big difference between Massie and the rest is that while Massie has a lot of terrible ideology (despite some areas of agreement with Dems of late), he actually *has* an ideology.

So much of the MAGA movement doesn't have core beliefs. It just believes in the leader. That's it.

The assertion of Iran's nuclear program being nearly complete and able to both enrich uranium and make a functioning bomb or long range missle or ICBM is a lie. This assertion by Donald Trump and the Trump Administration is the new Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction and is seeking to build a nuclear weapons program claim. 

Iran, based on estimates from the IAEA and other nuclear weapons watchdogs, was likely not nearly as close to having the capabilities necessary to build a bomb, as the Trump Administration's assertion was. This is just like when war criminal George W. Bush and the broader Bush Administration fabricated intelligence and asserted that Saddam Hussein both had weapons of mass destruction and was actively working on a nuclear weapons program to build a bomb. How do gullible people keep falling for this war mongering propaganda?
